Silence behind the frontlines is a journey through the stories and tales of those who, in Bakota Hub, continue to build a present even in times of war. The podcast follows the artists-in-residence who, through their practice, engage with the land and its memory, exploring a territory marked by history yet stubbornly alive. Their presence becomes a form of witness: a way of listening to the landscape, the people, and the quiet acts of resilience that define life on the edge of war.

A podcast by Sineglossa for the Discovery Guide project, developed in collaboration with Fundacja Ziemniaki i and Territory NGO, and co-funded by the Creative Program of the European Union.
Reported, written and narrated by Beatrice Petrella.
    Edited by Alessandra Forghieri.
Story editing, sound design, original music and executive production by Jonathan Zenti. Designed and made by BAU Studio.

Cover artwork: I Listen to the Winds of Bakota (2024), acrylic on paper, 40 × 30 cm, by Olena Kayinska, one of the artists-in-residence at Bakota Hub as part of the Discovery Guide project.
