Teach Me Your Ways is a practical, experience-driven podcast about the real world of online teaching such as: what works, what doesn’t, and what I’ve learned from actually doing it.

I created this podcast to share the methods, lessons, strategies, and even the mistakes that have shaped the way I teach students virtually. Online teaching can look simple from the outside: open your laptop, start a video call, teach the lesson, and you're done. But anyone who has actually taught online knows there is much more to it.How do you keep a student engaged through a screen? How do you structure a lesson when you aren't standing in a traditional classroom? How do you figure out what a student actually needs? What do you do when a student is struggling, distracted, unmotivated, or simply doesn't want to participate? How do you communicate with parents, create meaningful lessons, establish expectations, and still make the experience enjoyable for your students?

That's what Teach Me Your Ways is here to explore.Each season features six focused episodes centered around online teaching. I'll take you behind the scenes of my own journey; from how I got started teaching online to how I structure sessions, assess student needs, create lessons, work with different learning styles, communicate expectations, handle challenging moments, and continue improving as an educator.

This isn't about pretending there is one perfect way to teach.It's about sharing what I've learned through experience and giving other educators, tutors, and anyone interested in online teaching practical ideas they can adapt to their own style.Some episodes will teach you a specific strategy. Others will share lessons I've learned from working directly with students. And sometimes we'll talk about the things people don't always discuss about teaching; the moments when you question whether you're pushing a student too much, the challenge of getting students to believe in their own abilities, the importance of setting boundaries, and the responsibility that comes with recognizing potential in a student before they recognize it in themselves.My goal is simple: give you something useful that you can take into your next online teaching session.
