8 JUL 2021 · On June 10, 1991, Eleven-year-old Jaycee Dugard, wearing her favorite all-pink outfit, was walking to her school bus stop. When she was halfway there, a gray car approached her. She figured the car was pulling over to ask her for directions. The man driving the car, Phillip Greg Garrido, rolled down the window, and tased Jaycee unconscious … and abducted her. Then we dive into the infamous Duke Lacrosse Scandal. In 2006, the school's lacrosse team threw a party where they invited exotic dancers to perform. After a verbal altercation the women left. But here's where the stories differ. The women claim they were raped but the boys say nothing happened... when police finally dig into what happened that night - it becomes clear this was a frame job rather than a rape.Sources:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kidnapping_of_Jaycee_Dugard#Background_of_Dugard_family https://www.denverpost.com/2019/08/26/jaycee-dugard-kidnapping-story-decade-later/ https://www.abc10.com/article/news/history/jaycee-dugard-abducted-30-years-ago/103-398d6351-a266-4ad6-bda9-da1af86d560d ESPN 30 for 30 Season 3 Episode 6 “Fantastic Lies”https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/03/duke-lacrosse-case-fantastic-lies-documentaryhttps://www.huffpost.com/entry/duke-lacrosse-rape-espn-30-for-30_n_56e07e33e4b065e2e3d486f7https://www.businessinsider.com/espn-30for30-documentary-duke-lacrosse-scandal-2016-3#even-duke-professors-say-that-leading-administrators-were-kept-in-the-dark-2https://www.vogue.com/article/fantastic-lies-espn-30-for-30-duke-lacrosse-caseSupport the show (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/badsign)
