This week, Dave and Travis sat down with David Edgell, owner of Iron Shop in Ogden, UT.
David is a world-record holder in powerlifting and an incredible advocate for building and
supporting a healthy fitness style amongst all people, not just elite athletes. His biggest goal is
to get athletes of all abilities, sizes, and experiences comfortable and active in the gym to
improve not only their physical fitness, but, above all, also their overall health and wellness.
Physical activity is so important in treating and preventing many different issues.
One of David’s newest ventures is a fitness program specific to improving fitness for riding
electric bikes. He has seen first hand the benefits of eBikes and the accessibility they provide
for riders who otherwise would be limited in their ability to ride a bicycle. We’re so excited to see where this takes him and how Bakcou can help improve the lives of others.

This week, Dave, along with Bakcou CMO Brian Marsing, sits down with our friends Erik Van Woerkom and Aaron Van Woerkom, better known as Muley Freak in the hunting world. Erik and Aaron are brothers born and raised in northern Utah where they grew up on a dairy farm and learned to hunt with their grandpa. The guys talk about how they came up with the concept of Muley Freak and what it took to get where they are today. His wife, Dee, has been a critical part of his journey and has her own amazing story from serving in the Air Force to being a Sheriff’s Deputy, and everything in between!

Episode 10 - Sydney "Tri No Feet" Smith
29 APR 2022 · In today’s episode, Dave and Travis sit down with Sidney Smith aka Tri No Feet and Bakcou
CMO Brian Marsing. Dave and Sid met at the International Sportsmen’s Expo and connected
there, and the friendship has grown ever since. Sid has truly been a Bakcou-lifer and been a
Bakcou rider since the beginning.
Sid was born with a progressive disease that affects your extremities. The disease affects
everyone a little differently and for Sid, it focused on his feet. After attempting multiple surgeries, he made the tough decision to do a below-the-knee amputation in both legs. He talks about how he was inspired by the Ironman competition during recovery from his second amputation. Five years later, he competed in his first Ironman after re-learning how to walk, run, ride a bike, swim, and so much more.
In addition to being an Ironman, Sid is a salesman by day and an avid outdoorsman by night
and weekend. He’s also heavily involved in the Disabled Outdoorsman – Utah non-profit,
helping to get disabled individuals introduced to new outdoor activities. They talk about how he manages and balances his time to train, spend time with his family, and enjoy the outdoors. Sid has been an inspiration to so many people and we at Bakcou are so lucky to have him as a
friend and supporter. This is a podcast you do not want to miss!
