Grab a cup of coffee or tea and settle in with The Cancer Wellness Podcast, hosted by Robin Page, who is a long-time metastatic breast cancer thriver. Robin was diagnosed in 2008 and after she was done being angry at the world, she realized that there were choices to be made to support her health. These choices grounded her during treatment and surgery, and she is passionate about sharing what she has learned and eventually what has become her lifestyle. We will connect with people who want to make an active choice to incorporate wellness into their lives after a cancer diagnosis. Through exploration, inspirational stories and experts sharing their point of view, we will try to simplify sometimes confusing information as it relates to health and wellness. Each month Robin will interview a guest speaker so together we can make choices to support healing our body, mind and spirit.

We created the Metastatic Breast Cancer Conference together where we were able to address medical and lifestyle aspects of breast cancer. Bonnie shares her own story of being diagnosed with breast cancer, issues with disparity and so eloquently shares her lifestyle/mindset that continue to help her live her life.

She is a fierce advocate for herself in the medical world, insurance issues and figured out medical marijuana prior to being legal in IL. She has been a friend of mine for years. We met for lunch on a monthly-ish basis and supported each other when our frineds did not survive the complications of the disease. She discusses mind-set, palliative care, advocacy and being an over all badass!

6 FEB 2023 · In today's epsidoe I speak with the fabulus Dr. Ben Ho Park. I met him when I was deciding if I should have a bilateral mastectomy or not and when to stop herceptin. We have kept in touch ever since and he has been a wealth of knowledge.
Here is his full bio:
Dr. Park received his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Chicago in 1989. He then completed a dual M.D., Ph.D. training program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1995. Dr. Park completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Hematology/Oncology Fellowship training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. In 2001, Dr. Park finished a postdoctoral research fellowship in cancer genetics in the laboratory of Dr. Bert Vogelstein at Johns Hopkins. In 2002, Dr. Park joined the faculty in the Department of Oncology at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins and held several positions including Associate Dean for Postdoctoral Affairs for the School of Medicine and Associate Director for Research Training and Education for the Johns Hopkins Cancer Center. In 2018, Dr. Park moved to Vanderbilt University Medical Center/Vanderbilt University where he is the Donna S. Hall Chair in Breast Cancer, Co-Leader of the Breast Cancer Research Program, Associate Director for Translational Research and Director of Precision Oncology at VICC, and Professor of Medicine and Associate Director for Basic and Translational Research in the Department of Medicine’s Division of Hematology and Oncology.
