The Clinical Bestie is a great chat over coffee(or is it wine?), between great friends who aren’t afraid to get into the real hard stuff of life. Monica and Liz tackle relevant topics at the intersection of mental health, parenting, and the unique challenges of midlife with honesty, humor, heart, and a healthy dose of professional expertise.
Monica is a licensed therapist, (MS, LCAS, CCS, LCMHC) to be specific. She’s also free spirited, fun loving, witty and foul mouthed with no filter, solo/widowed mom of two elementary aged girls, ages 5 and 7. She’s been through enough life obstacles and trauma to fill up a football stadium (and then some), yet still remains positive and optimistic about life, as well as helping others along the way.
Liz is a foul mouthed, coffee drinking, obsessed with her dog, full time working, single mom of an almost 8 year old son. She has dealt with her own personal mental health issues and is a fierce advocate of mental health awareness, and open honest discussion, with a dose of sarcasm on the side.
If you love a good vent session between great friends, who know their shit and love their people fiercely, this is the space for you.
