29 APR 2020 · I’ve said it before and I will say it again, “There is nothing common about Charlotte.” And I imagine that was probably the reaction of most when they met her even as a child. Rebellious and perhaps looked upon as defiant, she clearly was not of the mold her parents and family wanted her to be. In fact, they thought her dull, and incapable. When you listen to her interview, you will laugh out loud at this prospect. The brilliance of her heart is mesmerizing. Does any of this sound/feel familiar?
She tried her best to conform, to shrink and to stay quiet and reserved. But what else could she do when she found herself entranced by the light peeking out from behind the dark shades that were drawn down upon her heart? She broke out of the mold and found newness in life — and now she gives others the same opportunity.
In today's podcast interview, Charlotte and I discuss grief in so many stages of life, and what is required to let go is sometimes unimaginable in order to let in what is waiting.
What an inspiring journey! Please tune in and let Rev. Charlotte Common know that you don’t think there is anything common about her either. Welcome to The High Vibe Tribe Charlotte!

13 MAY 2020 · "Never underestimate the power that we have as individuals" is a quote by the latest podcast guest, Huw Kingston. A long time environmentalist, lover of nature and serious adventurer and explorer, Huw has sought ways to merge the worlds that speak to every heart. The stories in this interview are of the modern day version of David slaying Goliath, and what may surprise you is how it was done — with human kindness!
And it’s this human kindness that’s the driving theme behind Huw’s stories and projects, and its impact and power to create change. Kindness to the self, to each other, as the shared purpose, creating community, and kindness to the sweet precious earth he’s trying to sustain.
One of the biggest questions is where to begin to create the power to create change, and the answers seem to be one of Huws greatest gifts — the ability to motivate, guide, create a shared intention and put into motion the framework that gets the job done and... always gives back!
We discuss the personal impact on living authentically and personal dedication to make an impact. I mean, can you imagine what it was like to walk back into a marriage after 15 months away?? The truth is, there is just too much here to write about in one short blog and too much to talk about in one interview so there is Part 1 and Part 2 of this podcast.
Each episode is filled with jaw dropping inspiration that will change the lens you look through and give you some personal guidance too. My hope through all of this is that you will realize the theme, the common thread through it all; Human kindness is the key but always asks that you also give back. This is where Huw shines and invites you to explore how you can do this in your life too.
Listen in on Part 1 of the Huw Kingston interview. I promise, you'll be inspired.

His book Mediterranean - A year around a charmed and troubled sea tells the story of this journey and is a remarkable account of the people, land and seascapes of the Mediterranean countries of Europe and North Africa at a time of economic and human turmoil.

13 MAY 2020 · Listen in as Huw shares his most eminent projects: Bites by Bikes designed for these extraordinary times, Don’t Bag the Environment, and Bundy on Tap —the project that brought the worlds media giants to his little town. His initiatives made Bundanoon in Southern Australia the first bottled water free town in the world and put it on the map!
If that wasn't enough, then Huw circumnavigates the Mediterranean Sea, traveling 15,000km over 17 countries in 12 months all while risking dangers in active war zones! Huw was traversing these waters with his trusty kayak during the treacherous times of the Syrian crisis, intent on raising money for the not for profit, Save The Children.
You can read more in his book, Mediterranean, where he suddenly found himself in some pretty hot water. How did he get through? Here are his words..."With my natural ability to pull things out of a hat, leaving things to chance and leaving things to kindness, with a little bit of push and shove and drive, got me out of that.” These extraordinary experiences landed Huw a wonderful TedX delivery in Athens that you can listen to here: https://youtu.be/fPth2KOcKRY
