3 DEC 2018 · After a roller coaster regular season, BYU earned a trip back to Boise to face Western Michigan in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. How are BYU fans reacting to this bowl bid?
Also on the agenda is BYU's basketball's rocky start, including last night's loss to in-state foe Weber State. Is BYU basketball in danger of missing the NCAA tournament for a third straight year? What does the hoops program need to get back to form? Did Tom Holmoe jump the gun by extending Dave Rose's contract a few weeks ago?
Speaking of Holmoe, some fans are calling for the athletic director's job as the football and basketball programs struggle. What do the Bros think about Holmoe's tenure at BYU?

26 NOV 2018 · In a rivalry that has been nothing short of dramatic and heart-racing over the last two decades, Saturday's meltdown by BYU just felt like another chapter to the story. Up by 20 points twice in the second half, BYU found a way to blow a 20-0 and 27-7 lead over Utah, making it the Cougars's eighth straight loss to the Utes.
BYU came out firing and dominated the first half, shutting out the Utes 20-0 to begin the contest. It looked all but certain that Utah was overlooking BYU in favor of their match-up with Washington in the Pac-12 championship game.
Then came half-time.
A pick-six in the third quarter triggered a meltdown for the ages as the Utes found their mojo and scored 28 unanswered points to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.Â
Do BYU fans have reason to be optimistic despite the heartbreaking loss? Who is the blame for the meltdown? Did Utah win, or did BYU lose? Is that talent gap as wide as some suggest? What's with the second half play calling?
The Bros will discuss these and other questions tonight on the Sports Bros Podcast.

15 OCT 2018 · The BYU offense was struggling. It has been struggling for over 2 years now. That meant it was time for a change, and that change came in the form of true freshman quarterback Zach Wilson.
Through 6 games, senior QB Tanner Mangum never could get the offense moving consistently, even against inferior competition like McNeese State at home. Throw in the fact that BYU's defense was exposed in rather rude fashion the last couple weeks by Washington and Utah State, and it was clear the entire BYU program needed a lift.
Enter Zach Wilson.
The Bros discuss the Wilson Effect, and how his skill set helps the team moving forward.

24 SEP 2018 · Well, BYU got a win against McNeese State this past weekend, but it was nothing like how BYU fans imagined it would happen. BYU started slowly, facing a deficit after the first quarter, before pouncing on the cowboys in the second quarter on their way to a 30-3 win.
The game brought about what seems like more questions than answers. Is BYU ever going to develop a passing game? Are the receivers to blame, or the scheme and/or quarterback? Should BYU fans be satisfied with the win and resultant rise in the rankings to #20, or should more be expected of this team?
While the win was nice, BYU now faces what could be their stiffest test of the season: a roadtrip to Seattle against #11 Washington and their very aggressive and highly rated defense. What does BYU have to do to pull off another stunner in the Pacific Northwest? Is it even possible given the offenses woes?
The Bros discuss all this, and much more.Â

Are the special teams being undervalued? Is the defense even better than we thought? Can BYU continue to win without better quarterback play? What should BYU fans expect after 3 games of emotional whiplash? How long can BYU expect to stay in the Top 25?

10 SEP 2018 · After a week of hyped expectations, BYU football was brought back to earth with a loss to Cal at home. The loss has left fans asking a lot of questions: Was Arizona really that bad? Is Cal even good? Which team is the real BYU--the one that beat Arizona on the road or the one that laid an egg against Cal at home? What went wrong with the offense that seemed to be back on track last week? Has BYU even improved from last year? Did BYU fans overreact after BYU's win over Arizona, and are they overreacting now after the home loss to Cal?
Tonight the Bros discuss these questions, along with the biggest question of the week: should Tanner Mangum be the long-term starter this year? If not, then when should Zach Wilson make his first collegiate start? Also, the Bros give their updated predictions for the 2018 season.
