As Bazel and Murdochy the seahorse man stood arguing, DJ Flip’s mind spiraled with thoughts of revenge. He focused on Murdochy, imagining him in pain and helplessness. DJ Flip envisioned a trap, one that would send both the seahorse man and Bazel into the depths of the underworld. With the turn of a knob, he created a mesmerizing illusion, pulling the two enemies into a spiral of sound.
DJ Flip: “Let the realms below claim those who covet my life!” DJ Flip said to himself as the music stopped. The floor beneath the feet of him and his wife began to spin violently as they stood on the edge of the floor that didn’t move. The spin created a whirlpool spectrum of light. At that moment, the illusion shimmered, and Murdochy and Bazel vanished.
Instead of triumph, Flip felt an emptiness gnaw at his heart. In his pursuit of vengeance, he had lost sight of the love he shared with Amarah. As the music faded, he glanced toward her, only to find her expression clouded with sorrow rather than joy.
Amarah: “Jeffrey, what have you done?” she asked, voice trembling. “You sought to rid us of threats, but at what cost? Your heart was once filled with love, not hatred.”
DJ Flip felt like he was going to crumble. The reality of his actions was striking him like a bitter tide. As the echoes of his melody turned into whispers of despair, he realized that jealousy had blinded him to the thought of love. It wasn’t just Bazel he had condemned to the underworld; it was part of his own soul.

DJ Flip was down in the aquarium room with Amarah, and they both heard a rumbling noise. Amarah’s eyes became large and she asked: Flip, did you hear that noise?
Flip: Yea! There’s a vibration coming from the floor.
The aquarium room had a movable floor but it didn’t rumble and vibrate or move. Suddenly appeared Murdochy coming through the hole of the floor which was the elevator floor. His form looked like water and a hologram. He had eyes and eyebrows like a wicked genie, and his head was like the head of a seahorse.
This time nothing startled DJ Flip. He felt he had gone through the worst dealing with Ghost Boogie which is his foe of the past. He said angrily with his hands on his hip: I’ve got another enemy invading my home.
Amarah was frightened. She hid behind her brave husband.
Murdochy: Now you wait a minute little fella! You are on my property! You’ve got to move these walls and floors.
Flip: I don’t see no sign stuck in the mud and water with your name on it! This is my property! Ain’t nobody gonna barge in my home telling me to move nothing!
Sphinx Bazel stood behind the aquarium room door peeping and easedropping. He thought: This is gonna be good!
Murdochy continued to speak: I will ruin any enemy that invades beneath the water. You may own the land, but I’m the chief down here. I am Murdochy and my word is law.
Amarah began to speak nervously.
Amarah: Leave us alone. This is our home.
Murdochy: Shut up! This is Murdochy and man talk. You but out woman.
Flip: Hey! Wait! You don’t talk to my wife like that!
DJ Flip picked up a large fishing spear with pole he kept against the wall made of iron.
But Sphinx Bazel walked in saying: Knock! Knock! I saw something strange outside of the house, Flip, and I was wondering was everything alright. The front door was unlocked. I thought I heard something, and I decided to check things out.
When Murdochy laid eyes on Sphinx Bazel, he recognized him.
Murdochy: Bazel
Sphinx Bazel: And who are you? How do you know my name.
Murdochy: You’re the shark killer. I know just who you are. You are an enemy and you must die.
Amarah and Flip stood looking surprised looking from Murdochy to Sphinx Bazel.

Story by: Gail Nobles ©️2024

Spinx Bazel kept away from Amarah’s home for a while, after he saw that DJ flip built an underground room, near the river cave to her house. Not only was the house Amara’s home, but it was Flip’s home plus the property. They were living together and married, but Bazel could still spy on Amarah from a distance up high in the rocky mountains. Up high, he could look down and see everything.
Sometimes Bazel would go down the mountain to get to the river cave to go for a swim, but it would only put him in grief to see what Flip had built. It wasn't easy to get closer to Amarah anymore. The walls of the underground room blocked his view. It kept Amarah inside and the glass windows were tinted from the outside.
In the meantime, Bazel sat high spying and thinking how he had to leave and go back to Egypt with Katrina. He began to hold hatred in his heart for Flip wishing it had been him that Amarah had married. Bazel thought about how to get Flip out of the way so he could have Amarah.
Suddenly, Bazel began to hear a small faint voice in the cool breeze.
Voice: Noooo brother Bazel.
Bazel began to look around. He looked up and saw the clouds moving.
Voice: Thou shalt not.
In anger Bazel began to speak out loud: I'm going to kill Flip! He took away the woman I love!
Voice: You didn’t love her before, and now you covet. And now you want to kill. If you kill, you will be punished.
Bazel: Get away from me! I'm going to kill Flip if it's the last thing I do!
At that very moment, Bazel looked and saw a dark shadow covering the house of Amarah, and he saw something go down into her swimming pool with a tail of a giant seahorse.
Bazel asked: What is that I see?
And the voice that spoke to Bazel said: Great evil has come!
Bazel: I must go down and see.
Voice: Stay away Bazel. Stay away!

After DJ Flip and Amarah were happily married, things went smoothly in their lives together. Flip was then able to move in with Amarah to their new home after marrying her, but evil tried to come in.
Flip had finally finished getting his underwater tunnel room built from the river cave to where he and Amarah lived. He made an aquarium room. It was like being under the sea with all the fish. Amarah loved the room.
There was a movable floor that opened up to a spiral downstairs and another room to walk into. When someone didn’t feel like taking the stairs, there was a special little elevator near the stairs made in the floor to go up and down. The underwater room was a room where only DJ Flip and Amarah spent time together. They spent time together happily.
But there was an evil jealousy underground in the water. It was not Sphinx Bazel, but something more jealous than him. The evil was called Murdochy the Seahorse Monster. He appeared as a seahorse man. Murdochy did not like it that DJ Flip built his dream room tunnel underwater.
Murdochy: I will turn aside and go visit the home of the vinyl music wizard man and see what he has done.

Domino Storm & Shelly were also invited to Flip & Amarah’s wedding. It was finally the big day in the mountains. Domino Storm & Shelly went to the wedding and brought Miss Grady with them. Domino was the best man and Shelly was the maid of honor. Katrina was one of the bridesmaids.
Bazel just stood far back in the room silently. As he stood silently at the back of the room, his heart weighed heavy with a mixture of emotions. He was hurting that Amarah was getting married and was full of envy. However, he kept staring at Katrina. She was also beautiful, but not quite as beautiful to him as Amarah. He loved Katrina but loved Amarah more. As he grew up, he realized what he had lost because he had been involved with Amarah before. Bazel didn’t think he could ever get over Amarah. He didn’t think he could bear to watch Amarah get married. He stayed distant from the world around him at the wedding in the shadows at the grand wedding hall. A big crowd was there which was all of the friends that Amarah and Flip had made living in the mountains.
The ceremony began. Bazel saw the bride Amarah and how beautiful she was. He yearned to be with Amarah watching every step she took down the aisle. It tore at his soul to see her walk down the aisle to another man. He watched the couple exchange their vows, and exchange rings. Bazel could not bear to watch anymore and he left out of the room right before the bridegroom kissed the bride. DJ Flip and Amarah were happily married.
Bazel: It is finished. She has married him. ...

Flip was learning things from the good book and Amarah knew his innerman was good. She loved Flip and accepted the fact that he did not trust Bazel. Amarah did not want Flip to loose the trust he had in her, and she tried to keep away from Bazel, but Bazel kept trying to see her. She saw that Bazel still wanted her for himself and knew that there could be big trouble. Amarah knew both men. Bazel had a woman of his own but Amarah knew that didn’t matter to him. And it did not matter to her fiancé that Bazel had his own woman. DJ Flip did not trust him at all. Amarah hoped that if Bazel was allowed to come to the wedding, he would go on about his business with Katrina.
All the waters in the ocean, seas, and rivers could not drown the love that Bazel had for Amarah. But she was about to be another man’s wife, and Bazel’s heart did covet. All of the water that he went through in the wide river could not stop Bazel for visiting Amarah and spying on her and her property.
Bazel and Katrina came to America a few days before Flip and Amarah’s wedding. That’s when he had learned that something was being built underwater to Amarah’s land. He was spying and snooping around again near Amarah’s property.
Amarah glimpsed Bazel ducking back down into the water from a distance. She had been peeping out her back window and she knew that she saw him. Amarah decided she would head down to the river cave to meet up with Bazel.
When Amarah got there, she met Bazel. She said to him: Flip thinks you’re spying on our property Bazel. He said that he has seen you. I’ve seen you today near the property. What do you want? I never want to see you near our property again without permission. Is that understood?
Bazel: I thought it was just your …. Well I’m not spying & I don’t bother nobody, Amarah. I just go swiming. When I get near your place, I turn around.
Amarah: If you want to visit this river cave and swim, that’s fine. But don’t come near my property looking as if you’re spying because if Flip sees you, they’ll be trouble. Big trouble. I’m about to marry that man, and I want you and Katrina to come to the wedding. Flip doesn’t mind that. Just don’t make trouble. Besides, I got a call from Katrina wanting to know if I have seen you. I told her I hadn’t seen you. I think you better call her.
Bazel began to look sad. He knew in his heart that he was doing wrong to Katrina wanting to be with Amarah, and he was getting nowhere.
Amarah then said: Go Bazel! Be with her. That girl loves you. You have a blessing in your castle with you.” Then Amarah left Bazel and went back home.
There are many other stories of Amarah by the river cave not told. They are written in her diary titled Compass.

DJ Flip began to notice that Amarah was offish for a whole week from him. He noticed how sad she was about their conversation on Sphinx Bazel. Amarah was just sitting around to herself at her home. She was on a long break from the music business. DJ Flip didn’t like Amarah spending too much time alone. He tried to make up with her and told Amarah to send Bazel and Katrina an invitation to the wedding.
DJ Flip knew that Amarah loved the water and he knew that she loved motorcycles. For an early Christmas gift, he bought Amarah a motorcycle. But it was no ordinary motorcycle. It was a special motocycle made for the highway and water. DJ Flip had bought her a custom made Ski-Cycle.
Amarah loved her gift but she also had a funny feeling about it. Little did she know that the ski-cycle came with a laptop computer. It told Flip everywhere the ski-cycle was going, where and when it took off, and when and where it stopped. DJ Flip was quite nervous about it. He knew Amarah would fix him if she found out that he was keeping tabs on her. Flip didn’t want to have to worry and wonder about where Amarah was when she was gone.

Story: Fed Up With Flip
When Amarah got back from checking up on Katrina and Bazel, she went to visit DJ Flip and walked up to his door outside of his camper. She over heard him talking to his retired navy buddies.
Flip: Yea, I’m glad that sucker got put in jail. Maybe that will teach him a lesson about spying on my girl. And I better be hearing from her in a few minutes. She claimed she went down there to check on Katrina. Bazel is supposed to get out of jail and go back to Egypt with his girl. But that doesn’t mean nothing. He still wants my girl, and I don’t trust him. Do I trust Amarah? Sometimes I don’t know man. She’s still friends with that sucker after all that stuff he did to me. He pointed a missle gun at Amarah. Yea! She keeps saying it ain’t nothing to worry about, and that Bazel was calling her bluff. What? If she cheats on me, I’ll be using that missle gun on somebody, and I ain’t bluffing.
Suddenly, DJ Flip heard knocking at his door.
Flip: Got to go man. Talk to you later.
Flip hangs up the phone and rushes to the door to let Amarah in.
When Amarah walks in, she stops and folds her arms and gives Flip an angry long stare.
Flip: Everything alright Amarah?
Amarah: Is everything alright Flip?
Flip: Um Yea.
Amarah: You sure?
Flip: Why? What are you talking about?
Amarah: I heard what you said on the phone. If you’re feeling insecure and not comfortable, why don’t you talk to me? Why Flip? We’re planning to be married soon. We’ve got to trust each other. I can’t stand you not trusting me. If you can’t trust me, we shouldn’t even bother to get married.
Flip: I trust you Amarah, but I don’t understand why you are still friends with Bazel after he attacked me and pointed a missle gun at you. That man can’t be trusted. Can’t you see that?
Amarah: He saved me from a man that tried to attack me one morning in Flip City and asked me for forgiveness. I forgave him.
Flip: What! You never told me that you were attacked.
Amarah: It was during the time we had to be apart because you were afraid I would get hurt with all of the trouble going on in your life. People were attacking you.
Flip: And I agreed to come here in the mountains to be with you. I thought we left Sphinx Bazel and Flip City behind. Looks as though Bazel followed us. He’s been spying on our property. He’s not just coming here for no vacation. He still wants you.
Amarah: It’s just a coincidence, Flip, that he’s here.
Flip: A coincidence how?
Amarah thought about how she had seen Bazel at the beach. She thought: Hmm! He never did discuss how or why he was at the beach here in the mountains.
Amarah: How do you know he’s been spying?
Flip: I know. He’s been seen.
Then Amarah thought about the day she saw Bazel at the river cave claiming to find out where she lived.
Amarah: Flip, he could be spying. I don’t know.
Flip: I know he’s spying.
Amarah: He and Katrina wanted to know where we live because they are planning to come to the wedding.
Flip: I don’t care. I don’t trust him. He’s using Katrina for an alibi.
Amarah hung her head in sadness. She liked having Katrina as a friend, and she was getting fed up with Flip. Amarah wanted everyone to be friends.

24 OCT 2023 · Story: Trapped In State of Mind
Story by: Gail Nobles©️2023
While Amarah was away making sure things were going well for Katrina and Sphinx Bazel, DJ flip was trapped in his own state of mind. He had a lot of personal thoughts, emotions, and beliefs about his relationship with them. Amarah couldn't understand why he was still so angry at Bazel and his fear of losing her.
DJ Flip became Flip Wizard the night he fought Ghost Boogie. He thought about Louis Keystone, the man who sold his turntable to the seller who lived in the railway lands. He told Flip that he was special and faster than other human beings to the ghost. Flip thought: I can outsmart Sphinx Bazel.
DJ flip knew where Spinx Bazel hideout was underwater. Louis Keystone helped him to find an underwater architect. When they found the architect, Flip paid him to build a small room underwater near the river cave. The architect thought it to be challenging. So Flip decided to build the room like a tunnel without obstructing the water flow the. The architect agreed.
DJ Flip had a CD bubble made for himself to travel underwater. He thought: This is my home; my office in the mountains. And when Spinx Basil comes to spy, I'll be waiting for him when I see him around the river.
DJ Flip had a small device under Amara's dresser in her room that looked like a tiny clear CD. He thought: She’ll never know it's there. I'll be listening to her conversations and if Bazel ever make a call to her, I’ll know.
