Hello! Welcome to our podcast The Tao of Pooh! This podcast was produced by three students from York University as a project for the HIST 4840 Public History course. The podcast interprets the Canadian heritage of the travelling exhibit Winnie-the-Pooh Exploring a Classic currently displayed at the Royal Ontario Museum.

The Royal Ontario Museum has been a proud attraction in Toronto since it first opened in 1914. Since then, many exhibits have been displayed for the public to enjoy with their own interpretations and meanings. The ROM is supportive, interactive and inclusive for all their guests who plan to visit the exhibit.

Winnie-the-Pooh is a cultural classic that one does not get to experience and reflect on the historical significance everyday. Winnie-the-pooh has touched the lives and hearts of many people as a child and even adults. The tale of Winnie-the-pooh is more than just a story, it is based on real life events with reference to Canadian history. That Canadian connection relates to the people of Canada in a more thoughtful and interconnected way.
