11 OCT 2024 · In this episode, we unravel the bizarre and illegal world of Arthur “Jack” Schubarth, an 81-year-old Montana rancher involved in a decade-long scheme to traffic endangered sheep and create hybrid animals for profit. Schubarth's plan to breed rare Marco Polo sheep with native Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep posed a serious threat to local wildlife and violated both state and international laws. 9 OCT 2024 · On Monday, August 19th of this year, 6-year-old Rowan Morey was supposed to come home to his mother from his father's house. After he did not arrive on time, Rowan's mom, Brandi, called the police for help. This was one of many calls Brandi placed in desperation for help in protecting her son. Unfortunately, it was also one of many calls that would result in no support or help for Brandi and Rowan. Rowan was found deceased two days later, the victim of a murder-suicide at the hands of his father.
The system failed this family and resulted in an unimaginable tragedy. Brandi joins today's bonus episode to tell us about Rowan, how the system failed them, and what changes she would like to see happen to prevent this from happening to others.

30 SEP 2024 · On September 24, 2024, Missouri executed Marcellus Williams for the 1998 murder of Felicia Gayle. Multiple courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court, denied last-minute appeals. One of the most troubling aspects of this case is the role that informants played in Williams’ conviction. Both of the main witnesses against him had incentives to testify, and this has raised concerns about the reliability of their statements. Meanwhile, DNA evidence emerged in recent years that created beyond-reasonable doubt. Did Missouri execute an innocent man?
