1 JUL 2024 · Scripture to be read:  Psalms 19:1-14 Sermon Description: Though it can be tempting to find the law of the Lord burdensome and unnecessary, it is the law of the Lord that restores the soul! The word of the Lord is perfect and worthy of our praise and adoration. May it be that our hearts rest in his word, for His is the perfect way that leads to salvation through faith in Christ.

1 JUL 2024 · The glory of the Lord is over all creation, which leads the heart of the believer to rejoice in him! Even though man is so far below God's glory and splendor, God raises man up. This gives the believer cause for praise, for it is through Christ that mortal man is raised with him. Scripture to be read:  Psalm 8:1-9

14 JUN 2024 · Jesus is the better high priest who lives to intercede for his people. In our attempts to justify ourselves by seeking to defend our innocence, we can forget that there is one who offers a perfect plea for guilty sinners before God. Jesus speaks a better word on behalf of sinners to the Father, so accept the ministry of the Son.  Scripture to be read:  Hebrews 7:20-28

3 JUN 2024 · In the midst of earthly rulers and authorities, the Lord reigns from Heaven. It is a good thing that the Lord rules over the earth, for he has set his Son as King! Life and freedom will not be found when we set ourselves against HIS authority, but only when we set ourselves under the reign of King Jesus. Scripture to be read:  Psalm 2:1-12

3 JUN 2024 · Scripture: Habakkuk 3:16-19

7 MAY 2024 · Description: Seeking glory for ourselves will end in destruction. While it is tempting to exalt ourselves, the glory is only temporary and will come to ruin. Even in uncertain times where evil men exalt themselves, the true God of the Bible is the one who truly is high and lifted up. In the world today, people do well to seek God's glory, for it is when God has all the glory that sinners are truly lifted up! Scripture to be read:  Habakkuk 2:6-20

1 MAY 2024 · Sermon wait for the Lord's answer. In a world filled with uncertainty, it is far easier to trust in ourselves for the right answer. However, it is by faith in Jesus that believers can navigate a difficult world... especially in light of impending judgement. Scripture to be read:  Habakkuk 2:2-5

22 APR 2024 · Scripture to be read:  Habakkuk 1:12-2:1 Sermon Description: What do we do as believers when the answer we are looking for from the Lord doesn’t come? Or, when we get an answer that we did not want or expect? When we are faced with wrongs and injustice, we can always wait on the Lord’s answer… for it is an answer that we can trust.

When we say, "Why O Lord?", we do not always get the answer that we expect. The truth is, his ways do not seem good and just to us at times. Even if his ways do not make sense to us, we can trust him knowing that his ways are truly good and just!
