12 FEB 2020 · A woman in Eau Claire, WI was dating multiple men, and had multiple stories when she showed up to her friend's house claiming she had been assaulted. Try to keep up with this story as Hannah gives Sam and Shan the details!
18 NOV 2019 · First, we talked to Sam's grandmother in Plainfield, WI, and now we've moved on to Hannah's hometown. This story went down in Troy, MO, and this woman is an absolute psychopath. Not only did she murder her friend who was dying of cancer, but she also set a guy up for a "TV show" and took is his life as well.
19 SEP 2019 · Eric Paulsen from 95.7 BIG FM is also on "Discover Wisconsin", so he's seen some bizarre things in Wisconsin! We talked about Frank Lloyd Wright, the Hodag, and UFOs. Buckle up ... this road trip is about to get real weird.
4 AUG 2019 · Continuing our series on Jeffrey Dahmer .... this week we have his defense attorney, Jerry Boyle, in with us. We talked about how he was hired, his experience as an attorney in general, and what it was like working with Dahmer.
5 JUN 2019 · When the police entered Jeffrey Dahmer's apartment after one of his victims escaped, they had no idea what they were in for. Annie Schwartz, a crime reporter at the Milwaukee Journal, received a tip about what they found there, and she was the first news outlet on the scene. Since then, she has written a book ("The Man Who Could Not Kill Enough : The Secret Murders of Milwaukee's Jeffrey Dahmer"), and we had her in this week for Episode 2 of our Dahmer series.
25 MAY 2019 · When you think of serial killers, Jeffrey Dahmer is definitely one of the ones we all think of ... especially here in Milwaukee since this is where he lived and committed there horrible crimes. You've probably heard about the murders by now, but Dr. Josef Benson is writing a book on the psychology behind it all involving race and sexuality that is extremely interesting. Check it out, and we'll keep you posted on when you can pick up his book!
16 MAY 2019 · It's been a whole month since we put one of these out AND WE ARE SO SORRY!!! This one has a few stories for you, including a mother/daughter duo that committed insurance fraud with the WORST reasoning, a happy Jayme Closs update, and our love of Zac Bundy.
15 APR 2019 · A missing or abducted child is never an easy thing to talk about, so before we dived into Netflix's "The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann", we talked about a disturbance at a Walmart in Wisconsin that involved a karate-fighting mom, a naked (adult) son, and a dog craving some corn bread.
8 APR 2019 · In 2011, Timmothy Pitzen went missing after a fun filled weekend with his mother. Last week, Brian Rini, a man who has been charged with several miscellaneous crimes over the past few years, claimed to be him to bystanders near the Ohio/Kentucky border. This roller coaster of a story is the subject of this week's Wisconsins.
5 APR 2019 · Gina Barton who started the "Unsolved" podcast has been covering crime stories for years .... she even interviewed Steven Avery before starting her very popular podcast with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel! Besides the 3 seasons she's finished, we talked about her Q&A event that's coming up, what other stories she has covered that will give you the creeps, and why she thinks such odd things happen in Wisconsin.
