We also explore how self-love and self-care mean feeling all of our emotions, including the negative and dark ones, because without our shadows, we can not stand in our own light.
We discuss the importance of emotional connection in relationships. We explore how vulnerability and expressing our feelings, both beautiful and challenging, can help deepen the emotional bond with our spouse. Finally, we share three ways to support ourselves during the inevitable times when emotions are high and strong. We dive into the power of self-compassion, mindfulness, and grounding techniques, as well as healthy coping strategies such as exercise, journaling, music, and nature. We also emphasize the value of seeking professional support for emotional challenges, as working with qualified professionals in coaching or therapy can provide a loving and safe space for healing.
