Whirlpool of Despair

The story before you is about being willing to loose one's pride to gain more than one expected. I am a captain of a ship of great beauty, and glory. It's name is of course Self Glory. For this ship is enough to leave anyone speechless of all it's accomplishments with me as it's captain. The sea that am traveling on is the sea known as Pride. Many who have traveled this sea soon approach a Whirlpool known as Despair and I am no exception. As I start my travel, I bid farewell to all of those in the seaport and leave. The winds are a mild calm. I expect no rain or storms. So I lift my head in utter arrogance thinking it will be a easy path ahead of me in the Sea of Pride. Suddenly in a moment the winds started getting strong and I start shaking in fear as I see the beauty of Self Glory not being able handle the power of the wind. Then I see heavy rain starting to fall hitting so strong the paint of red , white and blue of Self Glory starts to chip off the ship. Then the worse was about to happen I feel and see the Whirlpool of Despair pulling me in. Many who have gone through the Whirlpool of Despair have gone to the bottom of the sea. Few have made it alive and live to tell the story how they made it alive. But this they had all in common they had to loose it all including thier ship to be saved by the master of sea. Many who survived called on this master of the sea and was not disappointed. This One who controls the sea , knows everyone and was among us for a time. And was both God and man. As I draw closer to the Whirlpool that brought me to Despair. Which name was Whirlpool of Despair and seeing my ship which was all my glory break as it is being sunk in the bottom of the sea, I call on the Lord and Master of the sea. Jesus , Jesus, Jesus save me from the whirlpool of Despair. And I hear a voice saying let go of the ship. For with one hand I was grasping to take hold of the one who controls the sea and with the other I took hold of the stear which moves the ship for I found it Imposible to leave my self glory and pride. Again the voice said let go of the ship for Self Glory with the Sea of Pride will only sink you in deeper in the Whirlpool of Despair. Then I said Jesus if I loose it all, where would I be. Then Jesus said "let go , for me to save you , I need all of you for half won't do." Then with a broken heart, heavy tears , and a mind in chaos I let go of all I have done to trust the master of the sea. As I open my eyes for I was blinded in the Whirlpool of Despair, I see myself on land, safe and sound. And I hear the voice of my Lord say look to the sea which is no more the Sea of Pride. And as I look , I for the first time stand in awe, for I see a greater , & better ship than Self Glory ever was. Now as one who been there before I ask are you willing to loose your pride and glory to attain something more better and greater which Jesus can bring and with it no despair.
