Actress and producer Amy Rutledge joins us for episode 75 of ABR. Amy’s most recent work Rent-A-Pal was filmed here in the Mile High City, set in 1990, Rent-A-Pal follows a lonely bachelor named David (Brian Landis Folkins) as he searches for an escape from the day-to-day drudgery of caring for his aging mother. While seeking a partner through a video dating service, he discovers a strange VHS tape called Rent-A-Pal. Hosted by the charming and charismatic Andy (Will Wheaton), the tape offers him much-needed company, compassion, and friendship. But, Andy’s friendship comes at a cost…

Amy’s from Jersey, she’s on team Pork Roll and she teaches meditation! Amy takes us through her Rent-A-Pal journey from getting her role, filming in Denver, to getting picked up by IFC and seeing it on the big screen. Amy talked on how she came to meditation, the impact it’s had on her and shares some of her experiences as a student and a teacher.
