Ca: El sol de tardor entrava suaument per les finestres altes de la biblioteca de l'institut de Barcelona.
En: The autumn sun gently entered through the tall windows of the high school library in Barcelona.

Ca: Els raigs de llum dibuixaven figures complicades sobre les taules de fusta gastada, creant un ambient tranquil i acollidor.
En: The rays of light drew intricate patterns on the worn wooden tables, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere.

Ca: A la taula del fons, Oriol estava envoltat de llibres i apunts.
En: At the table in the back, Oriol was surrounded by books and notes.

Ca: Els ulls li brillaven de determinació mentre repassava les fórmules de matemàtiques.
En: His eyes sparkled with determination as he reviewed the math formulas.

Ca: La Laia, asseguda a la mateixa taula, sospirava lleument.

Ca: —No puc, Laia. He de treure bones notes. La meva família espera molt de mi.
En: "I can't, Laia. I need to get good grades. My family expects a lot from me."

Ca: La Laia va somriure.

Ca: —Pots estudiar i gaudir al mateix temps, saps? La vida no és només exàmens.

Ca: Oriol va sacsejar el cap.

Ca: Tot el que podia pensar era en la beca que necessitava aconseguir.
En: All he could think about was the scholarship he needed to obtain.

Ca: —Tu no entens, Laia. Això és important.
En: "You don't understand, Laia. This is important."

Ca: Laia va fer una cara pensativa.
En: Laia made a thoughtful face.

Ca: Sabia que Oriol estava pressionat, però el seu amic necessitava respirar.
En: She knew that Oriol was under pressure, but her friend needed to breathe.

Ca: Una idea li va venir al cap.

Ca: —Oriol —va insistir, aquesta vegada més fermament—. Necessites veure el món més enllà dels llibres.
En: "Oriol," she insisted, this time more firmly, "you need to see the world beyond the books.

Ca: Què et sembla si després d'estudiar anem a la fira del barri? Serà divertit!
En: How about we go to the neighborhood fair after studying? It'll be fun!"

Ca: Oriol va voler rebutjar la proposta, però alguna cosa en la veu de Laia el va fer parar.
En: Oriol wanted to reject the proposal, but something in Laia's voice made him pause.

Ca: —Com pot ajudar-me això? —va preguntar, més per curiositat que amb rebuig.
En: "How can that help me?" he asked, more out of curiosity than rejection.

Ca: —De vegades, inspiració i relaxació són les millors professores, no creus? —va respondre la Laia, amb un somriure juganer.
En: "Sometimes, inspiration and relaxation are the best teachers, don't you think?" responded Laia with a playful smile.

Ca: La discussió es va tornar més intensa.
En: The discussion became more intense.

Ca: Oriol es va aixecar de la cadira, els ulls li cremaven de frustració.
En: Oriol stood up from his chair, his eyes burning with frustration.

Ca: —És fàcil dir-ho, Laia. Tu no tens totes aquestes expectatives sobre les teves espatlles! —va cridar.
En: "It's easy for you to say, Laia. You don't have all these expectations on your shoulders!" he shouted.

Ca: El rebombori va fer adonar-se a Oriol que havia parlat més del compte.
En: The commotion made Oriol realize he had spoken out of turn.

Ca: La Laia el va mirar, els ulls plens d'una barreja d'entendre i decepció.
En: Laia looked at him, her eyes full of a mix of understanding and disappointment.

Ca: —Ja sé que és difícil, Oriol. Només vull ajudar-te.

Ca: El silenci es va apoderar de l'espai, només trencat pel discret soroll de les pàgines de llibres.
