Cs: První paprsky slunce se rozlily po Karlově mostě.
En: The first rays of the sun spread over Charles Bridge.

Cs: Jana, Petr a Lucie stáli uprostřed mostu a dívali se na třpytící se Vltavu.
En: Jana, Petr, and Lucie stood in the middle of the bridge, looking at the sparkling Vltava.

Cs: Byl to den velkých příprav.
En: It was a day of big preparations.

Cs: Dnes se na tomto historickém místě koná velký kulturní festival.
En: Today, a large cultural festival was taking place at this historic site.

Cs: "Koukněte, už přichází první stánky," zvolala Jana. Její oči zářily vzrušením.
