Cy: Oedd hi'n ddiwrnod hyfryd ym mhentref hir enw Llanfairpwllgwyngyll. Roedd yr awyr yn las, a'r adar yn canu. Ond yn siop leol y pentref, roedd storm ar fin dechrau.
En: It was a lovely day in the long-named village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll. The sky was blue, and the birds were singing. But in the local village shop, a storm was about to begin.
Cy: Mae Megan yn gweithio yn y siop bob dydd Iau. Mae hi'n adnabod pawb, ac mae pawb yn adnabod hi. Heddiw, roedd ei ffrind gorau, Griffith, wedi dod i helpu yn y siop.
En: Megan works at the shop every Thursday. She knows everyone, and everyone knows her. Today, her best friend, Griffith, had come to help at the shop.
Cy: Yn y cefn, roedd Anwen, sy'n gwarchod y defaid ar y mynyddoedd gerllaw, wedi dod i'r siop gyda'i chwaer. Roedd hi'n dawel a chywir, ond heddiw, roedd 'na wallt mewn sebon.
En: Meanwhile, Anwen, who looks after the sheep in the nearby mountains, had come to the shop with her sister. She was quiet and proper, but today, there was hay in her hair.
Cy: Wrth agor y drws, wnaeth Anwen anghofio am y defaid oedd yn dal i ddilyn hi. Yn sydyn, roedd cri sŵn a llanast yn y siop. Roedd y defaid ym mhob man, rhwng y silffoedd, yn bwyta siocledi ac yn chwalu popeth.
En: As Anwen opened the door, she forgot about the sheep following her. Suddenly, there was a commotion and noise in the shop. The sheep were everywhere, between the shelves, eating chocolate and destroying everything.
Cy: "O Anwen, beth wnest ti?" gwaeddodd Megan wrth geisio dal defaid.
En: "Oh Anwen, what have you done?" shouted Megan, trying to catch the sheep.
Cy: Griffith, yn ymdrechu i aros yn ddigyffro, neidiodd dros y cownter. "Rhaid i ni eu dal nhw cyn iddynt ddifetha mwy," meddai. Gyda'i gilydd, gweithiodd Megan a Griffith yn galed i reoli'r sefyllfa.
En: Griffith, struggling to stay calm, jumped over the counter. "We need to catch them before they cause more damage," he said. Together, Megan and Griffith worked hard to manage the situation.
Cy: Anwen, wrth ei bodd â'i chamgymeriad a'i braw, roedd yn rhedeg o gwmpas, gan geisio tawelu'r defaid. "Dewch nawr, tawelwch," meddai hi mewn tôn adnabyddus.
En: Anwen, somewhat pleased with her mistake and embarrassment, ran around trying to calm the sheep. "Come now, quiet down," she said in a familiar tone.
Cy: Yn raddol, gyda help y pentrefwyr a ddaeth i mewn gyda sŵn y defaid, lwyddon nhw i ddal pob un dafad a'u dychwelyd i'r cae. Roedd hi'n broses hir a chaled, ond yn y diwedd, lwyddodd pob un.
En: Gradually, with the help of the villagers who came in with the noise of the sheep, they managed to catch each sheep and return them to the field. It was a long and tough process, but in the end, they succeeded.
Cy: Megan, yn chwerthin am y sefyllfa ryfedd, eisteddodd i lawr ar y llawr. "Wel, dyna antur i'w chofio," meddai hi.
En: Megan, laughing at the strange situation, sat down on the floor. "Well, that's an adventure to remember," she said.
Cy: Griffith, sydd bellach wedi blino'n lân, yn cytuno gyda gwên. "Cawn ni siwrne dawel yn y siop wythnos nesaf, gobeithio," meddai.
En: Griffith, now completely exhausted, agreed with a smile. "We'll have a quiet time in the shop next week, hopefully," he said.
Cy: Anwen, sy'n teimlo tipyn o ryddhad a llesmeiriad, addawodd fod mwy gofalus yn y dyfodol. A'r pentrefwyr, yn eu tro, yn siarad am y digwyddiad am flynyddoedd i ddod.
En: Anwen, feeling somewhat relieved and amused, promised to be more careful in the future. And the villagers, in turn, talked about the event for years to come.
Cy: Ac felly, roedd hi'n ddiwrnod cyffredin arall yn Llanfairpwll... bron.
En: And so, it was just another ordinary day in Llanfairpwll... almost.
