Chase Rice is an American Country Music Singer-Songwriter from Asheville, North Carolina. He is best known for his song, "Eyes on You" which has over a quarter billion streams on Spotify, and for co-writing the #1 hit, "Cruise" with Florida Georgia Line. In this Episode, Chase shares how he got started in making music. He first picked up a guitar at the UNC where one of his teammates on the football team taught him a few chords. He would later fall in love with music after being plagued by injuries and the passing of his father, which led to Chase's first song, "Larger than life". He shares how hard it was to get through that time and how after a short stint working as a NASCAR pit man, he felt pursuing music was the only option. Chase opens up about his record deal and how he now feels free to produce the kind of music that he truly believes in, rather than chasing hits or what's trending. He's gotten back to his roots on his new EP,
Songs From I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell. The boys share a few laughs, crack a few movie references, and talk about golf. This is a great episode for anyone who enjoys a good laugh, anyone who loves country music, or anyone looking to be inspired by the human spirit. Check Out
