Story Transcript:

Ja: 東京市には、2人の親友、春香と大樹が住んでいました。
En: In Tokyo City, two best friends, Haruka and Daiki, lived.

Ja: 彼らは同じ旅行会社で働きながら、休日には一緒に都市の騒音を逃れ、那須や箱根などの近郊の静かな場所でキャンプを楽しむのがお気に入りでした。
En: They worked at the same travel agency, and on weekends, they enjoyed escaping the city noise together and camping in quiet places like Nasu and Hakone in the outskirts.

Ja: ある日、キャンプの準備をしている春香は、とあるアウトドア料理マガジンを眺めていました。
En: One day, Haruka, who was preparing for camping, was looking at an outdoor cooking magazine.

Ja: 「アボカドを使った新鮮なサラダ、これはいいわね。
En: "A fresh salad with avocados, this looks good," she thought.

Ja: 」と彼女は思いました。
En: However, her cooking knowledge was not very deep, and she accidentally bought avocados, which were green and tough-skinned like wasabi, at the fruit section.

Ja: ところが、彼女の料理の知識はあまり深くなく、果物売り場でワサビと同じく緑色で皮が固いアボカドを間違えて買ってしまいました。
En: On that weekend, they gathered at the camping site in Koganei Park.

Ja: その週末、彼らは小金井公園のキャンプサイトに集まりました。
En: When the smell of Haruka's cooked food filled the air, excitement appeared on Daiki's face.

Ja: 春香の作ったご飯が焼けた匂いが広がった瞬間、大樹の顔に興奮の色が浮かんだ。
En: "Alright, it's mealtime!"

Ja: 「ヨシ、食事の時間だぞ！
En: Daiki exclaimed happily, but he waited for permission from Haruka to start eating out of respect.
