Story Transcript:

Sk: Nad bratislavským hradom sa vznáša hudba.
En: Above Bratislava Castle, music fills the air.

Sk: Na nádvorí sa koná veľký folkový festival a tri postavy stoja v strede diania - Eva, Peter a Jana.
En: In the courtyard, a grand folk festival is taking place, and three figures stand in the midst of the action – Eva, Peter, and Jana.

Sk: Tancujú, smejú sa a vychutnávajú si krásne slnečné popoludnie.
En: They dance, laugh, and enjoy the beautiful sunny afternoon.

Sk: Eva, s dlhými hnedými vlasy zapletenými do copov, nosí tradičný kroj s farebnými výšivkami.
En: Eva, with long brown hair braided into pigtails, is wearing a traditional costume with colorful embroidery.

Sk: Peter, sústredený na svoje kroky, je oblečený v bielom kroji a má na sebe lesklé čierne topánky.
En: Peter, focused on his steps, is dressed in a white costume and shiny black shoes.

Sk: Jana, najmladšia z trojice, má na tvári detský úsmev a oči plné žiarivého očakávania.

Sk: Pri jednej obzvlášť výraznej časti tanečnej sekvencie, sústredení na složité kroky, Peter príliš zvesela vykročí nohou a jeho topánka letí vzduchom.
En: During a particularly striking part of the dance sequence, focused on the intricate steps, Peter steps too energetically, and his shoe flies into the air.

Sk: Nikto nestačí zareagovať, až kým topánka nepristane hore na najvyššej veži hradu.

Sk: Hudba stíchla a všetci súčasnýci sa dívajú hore na vežu.
En: The music stops, and all the attendees look up at the tower.

Sk: Eva, bez obáv, začína plánovať záchranu.
En: Unperturbed, Eva begins to plan the rescue.

Sk: Je praktická a rozhodná, takže odloží sukňu a začne s Jankou hľadať cestu nahor.
En: She is practical and determined, so she tucks up her skirt and starts with Jana to find a way up.

Sk: Našťastie, Peter je člen hradnej stráže a pozná tajné schodisko vedúce až na vežu.
En: Fortunately, Peter is a member of the castle guard and knows a secret staircase leading up to the tower.

Sk: Eva a Jana ho nasledujú, smejúc sa a potichu dúfajúce, že topánka nebude na veľmi ťažko prístupnom mieste.
En: Eva and Jana follow him, laughing and quietly hoping the shoe won’t be in a very difficult-to-reach place.

Sk: Cesta je strmá a úzka, ale keď sa konečne dostanú hore, topánka ich čaká na okennom parapete.
En: The path is steep and narrow, but when they finally reach the top, the shoe is waiting for them on the window ledge.

Sk: Eva sa predkloní, aby ju chytila, ale stráca rovnováhu.
En: As Eva leans forward to catch it, she loses her balance.

Sk: V poslednej chvíli ju Jana zachytí za ruku a spoločne sa smejú nad blízkou katastrofou.
En: In the nick of time, Jana grabs her hand, and they laugh together at the near-miss.

Sk: Nakoniec sa všetci traja vrátia dolu, kde ich čakajú a oslavujú ich priatelia z tanečnej skupiny.
En: Finally, all three return to the ground, where their friends from the dance group are waiting for them, celebrating their heroes.

Sk: Peter si obúva topánku späť na nohu a s úsmevom slúbi, že nabudúce bude tancovať len s dokonale uviazanými šnúrkami.
En: Peter puts his shoe back on and promises with a smile that he will always tie his laces perfectly in the future.

Sk: Vzduchom znovu zaznie hudba a tanec pokračuje.
En: The music fills the air again, and the dance continues.

Sk: Eva, Peter a Jana sú teraz hrdinami dňa.
En: Eva, Peter, and Jana are now the heroes of the day.

Sk: A ako každý dobrý príbeh, končí aj tento smiechom a pokračovaním tradície, ktorá spája ľudí a ich príbehy na krásnom mieste, ktorým je Bratislavský hrad.
