Et: Suvepäike paistis soojalt, kui Liis ja Taavi jõudsid Saaremaale.
En: The summer sun shone warmly as Liis and Taavi arrived in Saaremaa.

Et: Nad olid teel Kaali meteoriidikraatri juurde, mis oli üks Eesti ajaloolistest aaretest.
En: They were on their way to the Kaali meteorite crater, one of Estonia's historical treasures.

Et: Liis oli ajaloohuviline ja ootas, et näha oma silmaga kraatrit, mida ta oli nii palju uurinud.
En: Liis, a history enthusiast, was eager to see the crater she had researched so extensively with her own eyes.

Et: Taavi, insener oma loomult, oli rohkem huvitatud kraatri geoloogilisest poolest.

En: Taavi shook his head but decided to go along for Liis's sake.

Et: „Okei, aga me ei veeda siin kogu päeva,” ütles ta.
En: “Okay, but we’re not spending the whole day here,” he said.

Et: „Võtame kolm tundi, siis liigume edasi.”
En: “We’ll give it three hours, then we move on.”

Et: Nad kõndisid mööda kraatri serva, jälgides iga sammu.
En: They walked along the edge of the crater, watching every step.

Et: Liis uuris hoolikalt maapinda, liikudes aeglaselt edasi.
En: Liis carefully examined the ground, moving slowly forward.

Et: Taavi vaatas endiselt kahtlevalt ringi, kuid ei öelnud enam midagi.
En: Taavi still looked around doubtfully but said nothing more.

En: After an hour of searching, they found a small river that flowed away from the crater.

En: They found a large, unusual stone with old metal pieces around it.

Et: "See näeb välja nagu mingi vana tööriist, mis on meteoriidiga siia sattunud," ütles Taavi, olles üllatunud.
En: “It looks like some old tool that ended up here with the meteorite,” said Taavi, surprised.

Et: "Või on see mingi iidne artefakt," ütles Liis silmad säramas.
En: “Or it’s some ancient artifact,” said Liis, her eyes sparkling.
