Story Transcript:
Cy: Wel yn nyddiau hyn, pan roedd yr awyr yn las a'r goedwig yn wyrdd dros ben, roedd Castell Conwy yn edrych fel rhyfeddod o'r gorffennol.
En: In these days, when the sky was blue and the forest was overwhelmingly green, Conwy Castle looked like a wonder from the past.
Cy: Ond nid heddwch a thawelwch oedd yn llenwi muriau hynafol y castell ar y prynhawn hwn, ond helynt annisgwyl.
En: But it wasn't peace and tranquility that filled the ancient castle walls on this afternoon, but rather unexpected trouble.
Cy: Un diwrnod braf, roedd Rhys, bachgen crwydrol â breuddwydion mawr, yn crwydro o gwmpas Castell Conwy gydag awydd dysgu am hanes ei fro.
En: One fine day, Rhys, a curious boy with big dreams, was wandering around Conwy Castle with a desire to learn about the history of his homeland.
Cy: Roedd Megan, ei ffrind gorau, yn dod gydag ef.
En: His best friend, Megan, accompanied him.
Cy: Roedd hi'n ferch glyfar a phenderfynol, a doedd dim byd yn ei hatal hi rhag helpu ei ffrindiau.
En: She was a clever and determined girl, and nothing could stop her from helping her friends.
Cy: Wrth iddynt grwydro o amgylch y castell, daeth Rhys ar draws hen ddrws coed â chamglo ar ei ffrâm.
En: As they wandered around the castle, Rhys came across an old wooden door with a lock on its frame.
Cy: Heb feddwl ddwywaith, gwnaeth Rhys ei agor ac aeth tu mewn i'r ystafell dywyll.
En: Without thinking twice, Rhys opened it and went into the dark room.
Cy: Ond pan roedd yn edrych y tu ôl iddo, daeth y drws ynghau gyda chlic swnllyd.
En: But as he looked back, the door closed with a loud click.
Cy: Roedd Rhys wedi'i gloi y tu mewn i garchar y castell.
En: Rhys had been locked inside the castle's dungeon.
Cy: Pan sylweddolodd Megan nad oedd Rhys yn ei hol hi, rhedodd o gwmpas yn chwilio amdano.
En: When Megan realized that Rhys wasn't with her, she ran around searching for him.
Cy: Clywodd gicio ofnadwy a llais Rhys yn galw am gymorth.
En: She heard a desperate knocking and Rhys' voice calling for help.
Cy: "Megan, helpa fi!
En: "Megan, help me!
Cy: Rwy'n gaeth yma!
En: I'm trapped in here!"
Cy: "Roedd calon Megan yn curo'n gyflym.
En: Megan's heart raced.
Cy: Rhaid oedd iddi ffeindio ffordd i achub Rhys cyn iddi fynd yn rhy hwyr.
En: She had to find a way to rescue Rhys before it was too late.
Cy: Rhedodd i'r derbynfa a siarad â'r castellwraig, gan ofyn am allweddi'r carchar.
En: She ran to the reception and spoke to the castle lady, asking for the keys to the dungeon.
Cy: Roedd y castellwraig yn gofyn llawer o gwestiynau, ond roedd Megan yn egluro'r sefyllfa gyda phwyslais a brys.
En: The castle lady asked many questions, but Megan explained the situation urgently and emphatically.
Cy: Gydag allweddi trwm yn ei llaw, a'r castellwraig yn ei dilyn, rhedodd Megan yn ôl i'r carchar lle roedd Rhys yn aros.
En: With heavy keys in her hand and the castle lady following her, Megan ran back to the dungeon where Rhys was waiting.
Cy: Dechreuodd hi fwrw y cloeau â'r allweddi, ond roedd cymaint ohonynt.
En: She began trying the keys, but there were so many of them.
Cy: Ar ôl treialu am beth amser, clywodd sŵn clic gwerthfawr.
En: After trying for some time, she heard a valuable clicking sound.
Cy: Sbardunwyd y drws ar agor, a rhedodd Rhys allan o'r tywyllwch a'r oerni.
En: The door was unlocked, and Rhys ran out of the darkness and cold.
Cy: Roedd y ddau ffrind yn gwenu a'u llygaid yn llenwi gyda deigryn o ryddhad.
En: The two friends smiled, tears of relief filling their eyes.
Cy: "Llwyddiant!
En: "Success!"
Cy: " ebe Megan gyda balchder.
En: said Megan proudly.
Cy: "Rhaid i ni fod yn ofalus gyda'r drysau hyn yn y dyfodol.
En: "We must be careful with these doors in the future."
Cy: ""Hoffwn i ddiolch i ti," meddai Rhys yn llawn diolchgarwch.
En: "I'd like to thank you," said Rhys gratefully.
Cy: "Fedra i byth anghofio heddiw.
En: "I can never forget today."
Cy: "Dim ond pan roedd y graig yn disgyn mewn tawelwch unwaith eto y gallech chi glywed chwerthin hapus Rhys a Megan yn echo o gwmpas coridorau hynafol Castell Conwy.
En: Only when the rock fell in silence once again could you hear the happy laughter of Rhys and Megan echoing through the ancient corridors of Conwy Castle.
Cy: Roedden nhw wedi dysgu gwers werthfawr am gyfeillgarwch a dewrder, a byddai'r stori hon yn aros gyda nhw am byth.
En: They had learned a valuable lesson about friendship and bravery, and this story would stay with them forever.
