Th: ในวันที่สดใสที่ตลาดจตุจักรที่พลุกพล่าน นารีหญิงสาวผู้ร่าเริงตัดสินใจจะไปซื้อผลไม้เพื่อนำกลับไปทำอาหารที่บ้าน
En: On a bright day at the bustling Chatuchak Market, a cheerful young lady named Nari decided to go buy fruits to take back home to cook.

Th: ในขณะที่เธอกำลังสำรวจผลไม้สีเขียวขนาดใหญ่ที่วางอยู่บนรถเข็นของพ่อค้า เธอได้เห็นผลไม้ที่มีหนามแหลมคล้ายกับทุเรียน แต่เธอกลับคิดว่านั่นคือขนุนผลใหญ่
En: While browsing the fruits on a large cart owned by a vendor, she saw a green, large-sized fruit that looked like a durian. However, she thought it was a jackfruit.

Th: นารีหยิบขนุนแล้วบอกกับพ่อค้าว่า "ชั้นจะเอาผลนี้นะคะ" พอจ่ายเงินเสร็จเธอจึงพาผลไม้ที่เธอคิดว่าเป็นขนุนกลับบ้านด้วยความตั้งใจที่จะทำขนมไทยอันแสนอร่อย
En: Nari picked up the jackfruit and told the vendor, "I'll take this fruit." After paying, she took the fruit, thinking it was jackfruit, back home with the intention of making delicious Thai desserts.

Th: ขณะที่นารีกำลังเดินกลับบ้าน โสรวิทเพื่อนสนิทของเธอที่มาด้วยกันได้เห็นแล้วเริ่มหัวเราะอย่างไม่หยุด เขาทราบดีว่าผลไม้ในมือนารีไม่ใช่ขนุนแต่เป็นทุเรียน เขาหยุดเธอแล้วพูดว่า "นารี นั่นไม่ใช่ขนุนนะ แต่เป็นทุเรียน!"
En: As Nari was walking back home, her close friend Sowit who came with her noticed and started laughing uncontrollably. He knew well that the fruit in Nari's hand was not jackfruit but durian. He stopped her and said, "Nari, that's not jackfruit, it's durian!"

Th: นารีเงยหน้ามองโสรวิทอย่างไม่เชื่อ "จริงหรอ? แต่มันดูเหมือนขนุนมากเลยนะ" เธอตอบพร้อมกับทำหน้าสงสัย เธอไม่เคยกินทุเรียนมาก่อนและสับสนไม่น้อยเมื่อรู้ว่าผลไม้ที่เธอถืออยู่นั้นจริงๆ แล้วคือทุเรียน
En: Nari turned to look at Sowit in disbelief and said, "Really? But it looks so much like jackfruit." She responded with a puzzled look. She had never eaten durian before and was quite confused when she found out that the fruit she was holding was actually durian.
