Author, global news anchor, & TV personality, Shannon LaNier, the sixth-great-grandson of President Thomas Jefferson and his slave, Sally Hemmings, recently made headlines when he was part of a project which recreated portraits of some of history's most famous figures by photographing their direct descendants.
