show moreThe offense came out strong going up 14-0, and ended the game strong with over 8 minutes of time of possession. However, there were perplexing aspects of the coaching and offensive performance within the second and third quarters. Injuries were plaguing the offensive line as they had two more starters, Landon Dickerson and Jason Kelce, miss some time during the game. The Eagles did a terrible job on offense putting their players in positions to succeed using formations, alignment, motion, and matchups to their advantage. Did the Eagles offense think this was game was already in the bag?
The same could be said for the Eagles defense. Kyler Murray saw soft zone coverage for most the day and was able to exploit it with his arm and his legs. Only 1 sack and 2 quarterback hits doesn't seem like it would have been enough, but thankfully the fill-in kicker for Jake Elliott, Cameron Dicker, hit both his field goals in the game - the last one for the win.
