Coming home at the end of a long day to a pet that is waiting to see you helps our mental health and also our physical health if that pet needs a walk. But having a pet goes beyond just caring for the animal by feeding it and getting its shots. Pet health is a new area of research that is gaining attention. That could be because many of us are learning more and more about our health each day. So today we are going to talk with Faith Warren who is the manager of the dog house - she will re-enforce why having a pet - in particular a dog is so good for our overall health. We are then joined by Sarita Pellowe - who is a researcher and founder of East Coast canine dog training. We Recently featured the folks at Nucliq biologics as we spoke about human gut microbiome but now we are learning that that extends to our furry friends as well. lets check in with Faith from the Dog house to see why having a pet is a healthy choice for many of us…..
