Pope Francis gave official approval to Medjugorje pilgrimages in 2019. During a pilgrimage to Lourdes, Fatima, Garabandal and Medjugorje, the Prodigal Pilgrim writes to Pope Francis, urging formal recognition of the Medjugorje apparitions. Mary offers humanity a lifeline, says the author, an alternative to David Attenborough’s observation that things can only get worse for planet Earth.
