Today on Authentic Talks with Author & Close friends Zelmira Crespi and Maria
Montt decided to co-write Happy Mom, Happy Kid to fill the gap they found when it comes to parenting books - the books they picked up as new mothers either weren't honest about the struggles parents faced, or dealt with themes such as postpartum depression. Zelmira and Maria wanted a book that spoke to the parents in between - the ones who were overall healthy mentally but felt like something was "off" in their lives, so they set out to write it. Zelmira and Maria provides Tools to help moms with reconnecting with self. We discuss The New Emotion moms can feel, not forgetting about who you are as a mom, self care and so much more!
They wrote a book about it, and also completed their own research about happiness, motherhood and the factors that are involved. Zelmira and Maria studied 623 women and you won't believe what was found!
