Fr: Dans une ville pleine de lumières, vivait Pierre.
En: In a city full of lights, lived Pierre.

Fr: Pierre aimait beaucoup son frère, François.
En: Pierre loved his brother, François, very much.

Fr: Ils vivaient à Paris, la belle ville de l'amour et de la mode.
En: They lived in Paris, the beautiful city of love and fashion.

Fr: Dans cette ville chic, un grand événement se préparait.
En: In this chic city, a big event was being prepared.

Fr: Pierre et François étaient tous excités.
En: Pierre and François were both excited.

Fr: Pierre a choisi une belle tenue.
En: Pierre picked out a nice outfit.

Fr: François aussi.
En: So did François.

Fr: Ils étaient tous deux si pressés qu'ils ne se sont même pas montrés leurs vêtements.
