Sk: V tichom srdci Bratislavy, kde sa minulosť môže dotýkať prítomnosti, stál malý reštauračný stánok s názvom "U troch haluškárov". Tu sa jeden horúci letný deň stretli traja kamaráti: Juraj, Tatiana a Peter.
En: In the quiet heart of Bratislava, where the past can touch the present, stood a small restaurant stall called "At the Three Halušky Makers." Here, on a hot summer day, three friends - Juraj, Tatiana, and Peter - met.

Sk: Juraj, chlapík so sklonom k nečakaným dobrodružstvám, viedol svojich priateľov úzkymi uličkami Starého Mesta až k obľúbenému miestu s domácimi špecialitami. "Dnes vás čakajú tie najlepšie halušky v meste!" vyhlásil Juraj s úsmevom.
En: Juraj, a guy inclined towards unexpected adventures, led his friends through the narrow streets of the Old Town to their favorite spot for homemade specialties. "Today, the best halušky in the city awaits you!" announced Juraj with a smile.

Sk: Zasadená medzi starejšími kamennými budovami a pestrofarebnými terasami reštaurácií, ich stála blahooslavovala vôňou rozmarínu a uzeného mäsa. Kamaráti sa usadili na drevené stoličky a Juraj, premýšľajúc nad menu, bol dobytý nedočkavosťou.
En: Nestled between old stone buildings and colorful restaurant terraces, their spot blessed them with the scent of rosemary and smoked meat. The friends settled into wooden chairs, and Juraj, contemplating the menu, was seized with impatience.

Sk: "Ešte nikdy som nejedol pravé slovenské halušky a dnes tu stretnem svoju chuťovú sudbu!" hovoril Juraj, keď ich obsluha prišla so žiadosťou o objednávku. Bez čítania a premýšľania, Juraj ukázal na prvú položku v menu a kývol. "Dám si túto!" usmial sa na čašníka.
En: "I've never eaten authentic Slovak halušky before, and today, I will meet my destiny in taste here!" said Juraj as the server arrived to take their order. Without reading or thinking, Juraj pointed to the first item on the menu and nodded. "I'll have this!" he smiled at the waiter.

Sk: Jedlo prišlo očakávane rýchlo a Jurajova misa bola tak obrovská, až tá halušková hora zahmlila jeho nadšenie. Biele knedle, zmiešané so slaninou a syrom, pokrývali celý tanier. Začal jesť s apetítom, no netrvalo dlho a steny jeho žalúdka volali o milosť.
En: The food arrived quickly as expected, and Juraj's plate was so huge that the mountain of halušky clouded his enthusiasm. The white dumplings, mixed with bacon and cheese, covered the entire plate. He began eating eagerly, but it didn't take long before the walls of his stomach cried for mercy.

Sk: Peter si všimol Jurajov zápas a škodoradostne poznamenal: "Tak toto by bol aj pre Lomničáka obrovský sústo!"
En: Peter noticed Juraj's struggle and mischievously remarked, "That would be a huge mouthful even for Lomničák!"

Sk: Tatiana však, so súcitom v jej hlasu, navrhla: "Mohli by sme ti trochu pomôcť, Juraj. Veď jedlo nemáme mrhať."
En: Tatiana, with compassion in her voice, suggested, "We could help you a little bit, Juraj. After all, we shouldn't waste the food."

Sk: A tak sa z ich skromného obedu stala nečakaná halušková hostina. Spolu v rozprávaní a smiechu ozvláčnili obrovskú porciu, až nezostalo ani zrnko syra.
En: And so, their modest lunch turned into an unexpected halušky feast. Together, in conversation and laughter, they devoured the huge portion until not a single grain of cheese was left.

Sk: Nakoniec Juraj so sklonenou hlavou povedal, "Ďakujem, priatelia. Bol to úžasný obed... ale nabudúce by som mal radšej objednať menšiu porciu."
En: Finally, with his head bowed, Juraj said, "Thank you, friends. It was an amazing meal... but next time, I should probably order a smaller portion."

Sk: Kamaráti sa zasmiali a vzájomne si poklepkali po chrbtoch, vedomí si, že spoločné chvíle sú viac ako jedlo, ktoré zdieľajú. A akokoľvek veľké množstvo halušiek Juraj objedná, ich priateľstvo bude vždy dosť silné na to, aby mu pomohlo.
En: The friends laughed and patted each other on the back, knowing that their shared moments meant more than the food they shared. No matter how large a serving of halušky Juraj orders, their friendship will always be strong enough to help him.
