Bg: Веднъж, на пазара в София, на кръстопътя на шумните улички и разноцветните щандове, Иван и Мария разглеждаха пресните плодове и зеленчуци.
En: Once, at the market in Sofia, at the intersection of noisy streets and colorful stalls, Ivan and Maria were looking at the fresh fruits and vegetables.

Bg: Иван, който обичаше да готви, реши да купи чушки за вечеря.
En: Ivan, who loved to cook, decided to buy peppers for dinner.

Bg: Той взе една, която изглеждаше обикновена и тъкмо да я дегустира, когато Мария, купувайки домати от съседния плот, минаваше покрай него.
En: He picked up one that looked ordinary and was about to taste it when Maria, buying tomatoes from the neighboring stand, passed by him.

Bg: „Внимавай, Иван", каза тя, но беше твърде късно.
