Ca: Els primers rajos de sol il·luminaven les muntanyes de Montserrat.
En: The first rays of sunlight illuminated the mountains of Montserrat.

Ca: Era un matí d'estiu, el dia de Sant Joan.
En: It was a summer morning, the day of Saint John.

Ca: Jordi, un jove de Barcelona, caminava sol cap a l'abadia.

Ca: Portava amb ell el rosari de la seva àvia.
