Cs: Dům rodiny Novákových stál na okraji malebné české vesničky.
En: The Novák family's house stood on the edge of a picturesque Czech village.

Cs: Byl obklopen zlatými a oranžovými listy, které lehce padaly na zem, když podzimní vítr procházel zahradou.
En: It was surrounded by golden and orange leaves, gently falling to the ground as the autumn wind swept through the garden.

Cs: Uvnitř byl dům útulný, s vůní dřeva z krbu, jež se linula po celém prostoru.
En: Inside, the house was cozy, with the scent of wood from the fireplace wafting throughout the space.

Cs: Bylo pár dní před Halloweenem a děti se těšily na oslavy.
En: It was a few days before Halloween, and the children were looking forward to the celebrations.

Cs: Jakub, nejstarší sourozenec, měl na starosti mladší Elišku a Václava.

Cs: Rodiče odjeli na víkend do města, aby navštívili babičku.

Cs: Eliška byla zprvu zklamaná, ale chápala, že Václav je teď důležitější.

Cs: Večer se Václavův stav zhoršil.
En: By evening, Václav's condition worsened.

Cs: Začal se třást a naříkat.
En: He began to shiver and moan.

Cs: Všichni si ulehčeně oddechli.
En: Everyone sighed with relief.

Cs: Jakub uvědomil, že je důležité mít po boku někoho, na koho se může spolehnout.
En: Jakub realized it was important to have someone by your side whom you can rely on.

Cs: Eliška ho objala.
En: Eliška hugged him.

Cs: "Udělals to nejlepší pro Václava.
En: "You did the best for Václav.

Cs: Jsi náš hrdina," řekla mile.

Cs: Václav se usmál, aniž by něco řekl.

Cs: Bylo zřejmé, že úleva pronikla celým domem.

Cs: A tak, i když se Halloweenu nedočkali tak, jak si původně představovali, sourozenci našli něco mnohem cennějšího – sílu a podporu rodiny.
En: And so, even though Halloween didn't turn out as they originally imagined, the siblings found something much more valuable – the strength and support of family.
