Story Transcript:

Ko: 한국의 복잡한 거리 시장에서 사람들은 북적북적하며 정신없이 움직였어요.
En: In the bustling streets of a complex market in Korea, people moved around frantically.

Ko: 지혜는 시장 한 구석에서 싱싱한 생선을 파는 아주머니 옆에서 도와주고 있었어요.
En: Ji-hye was helping a middle-aged lady selling fresh fish at a corner of the market.

Ko: 이 날은 특히 사람이 많아서 지혜는 정신이 하나도 없었죠.
En: That day, the market was especially crowded, and Ji-hye felt completely overwhelmed.

Ko: 그때, 썬그라스를 쓰고 멋을 낸 송민이가 시장 한복판을 걸어가고 있었어요.
En: At that moment, Sungmin, stylishly wearing sunglasses, strolled through the market.

Ko: 그는 시장에서 재미있는 것들을 구경하러 왔죠. 마침 휴대폰으로 친구 서준에게 문자를 보내는 중이었어요.
En: He had come to enjoy the interesting things in the market and was in the middle of sending a text message to his friend Seo-jun.

Ko: 지혜는 손님이 생선을 원하는 걸 듣고 얼른 쪼그려 앉아 생선들이 담긴 큰 양동이를 들었어요.
En: When Ji-hye heard a customer asking for fish, she quickly squatted down and picked up a large bucket of fish.

Ko: 그런데 때마침 짜증이 난 비둘기 한 마리가 지혜의 머리 위로 날아와 어깨를 스쳤고, 지혜는 균형을 잃었어요.
En: However, just then, an irritated pigeon flew over Ji-hye's head and brushed against her shoulder, causing her to lose her balance.

Ko: "아이고!" 지혜가 소리쳤죠. 바닥에 엎질러진 양동이에서 생선들이 펄쩍펄쩍 뛰었어요.
En: "Ah!" Ji-hye exclaimed. The bucket of fish toppled over, and the fish started jumping all over the ground.

Ko: 그리고 생선 몇 마리는 정확히 송민이의 머리 위로 떨어졌어요. 송민이의 새하얀 셔츠는 물고기 비늘과 바다 냄새로 가득 찼죠.
En: Some of the fish landed right on Sungmin's head, and his pristine white shirt was covered with fish scales and the smell of the sea.

Ko: "뭐야, 이거!" 송민이가 소리치며 생선을 떨어뜨렸어요.
En: "What the heck!" Sungmin exclaimed as he dropped the fish.

Ko: 지혜는 당황해서 얼굴이 빨개졌고, 바로 사과했어요. "죄송해요! 정말 뜻하지 않게 그랬어요!"
En: Ji-hye, flustered, blushed and immediately apologized, "I'm so sorry! It was a complete accident!"

Ko: 주변 사람들이 웃음을 참지 못하며 상황을 구경했고, 송민이는 황당한 표정으로 자리에 선 채였어요.
En: People around couldn't help but laugh as they watched the situation, and Sungmin stood there looking perplexed.

Ko: 서준이가 그 모습을 보고는 대체 무슨 일이 벌어진 건지 궁금해하며 다가왔죠.
En: Seo-jun, seeing the scene, approached, curious about what had happened.

Ko: 지혜는 어떻게든 상황을 수습하려고 생선들을 주워 담았고, 생선 아주머니도 도와주었어요.
En: Ji-hye tried to recover from the situation by picking up the fish, and the fish vendor helped as well.

Ko: 송민이는 짜증이 날 법도 한데 오히려 차분한 목소리로 말했어요. "괜찮아요, 누구나 실수는 하죠. 옷은 빨면 되고, 다행히 다치진 않았으니까요."
En: Despite being understandably irritated, Sungmin calmly said, "It's okay, everyone makes mistakes. I can wash my clothes, and fortunately, no one got hurt."

Ko: 그 말을 듣고 지혜는 조금 안심했어요.
En: Upon hearing those words, Ji-hye felt somewhat relieved.

Ko: 서준이가 웃으며 농담을 했죠. "송민아, 생선머리 좋지 않아? 새로운 스타일이야!"
En: Seo-jun made a joke, causing everyone to burst into laughter. "Sungmin, isn't the fish head a good look for you? It's a new style!"
