Story Transcript:

Af: In 'n klein dorpie, waar almal mekaar ken, was daar 'n blink en nuwe supermark genaamd "Koop-en-Loer".
En: In a small town where everyone knows each other, there was a shiny new supermarket called "Buy-and-Peek."

En: It was a place where people from near and far came to buy fresh products and delicious homemade treats.

En: On a sunny Saturday morning, Johan and Jan, two best friends, decided to go shopping for their mothers at Buy-and-Peek.

En: They laughed and chatted as they explored the supermarket shelves.

En: But they could never have guessed what lay ahead for them.

En: Meanwhile, on the other side of the supermarket, there was a young man named Pieter who was diligently filling the shelves.

En: Pieter, with his big glasses and clumsy ways, always knew how to get himself into a mess.

En: As Pieter attempted to put a large bag of flour on the top shelf, his foot slid on a loose tile.

En: With a horrific crash, the bag unexpectedly tore open, filling the air with a white cloud of flour.

En: Pieter was no longer visible, and when the flour finally settled, Johan and Jan couldn't believe their eyes.

En: There stood a living "flour monster" in front of them.

En: Pieter was covered from head to toe in flour!

En: The children playing in the supermarket started screaming and laughing, some thinking it was a ghost.

Af: Die volwassenes was egter nie so vermaak nie.
En: However, the adults were not amused.

En: People started to scream and run to get away from the white specter.

En: Pieter, completely embarrassed, didn't know where to hide.

En: He stood helplessly as the flour dripped from him.

En: Johan and Jan, always ready to help, quickly came up with a plan.

En: They started cleaning up the scattered flour while bringing a clean outfit for Pieter from the supermarket's clothing department.

En: With a few pats and shakes, they made Pieter look like a human again, while other shoppers helped them clean up the place properly.

En: With a joint effort, they quickly got the chaos in order.

En: Pieter was overwhelmed with gratitude toward Johan and Jan for their friendship and support.

En: The manager of Buy-and-Peek, who had witnessed the entire incident, was so impressed with the boys' quick thinking and cooperation that he gave each of them a reward.

En: The "flour monster" incident became a legend in the town, and Pieter, Johan, and Jan even made a few new friends out of it.

Af: Einde goed, alles goed, en by Koop-en-Loer was daar van daardie dag af 'n nuwe reël: Meel, en alle ander poeieragtige goedere, word net op die onderste rakke gestoor!
En: All's well that ends well, and from that day on, Buy-and-Peek had a new rule: Flour, and all other powdery goods, would only be stored on the bottom shelves!
