Today’s topic: Gran Turismo

The movie, "Gran Turismo" is based on a true story. It’s about a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become a real professional race car driver. It is a biographical coming-of-age sports drama film directed by Neill Blomkamp.

Produced by Columbia Pictures, PlayStation Productions, Trigger Street Productions, and 2.0 Entertainment, the film is based on the racing simulation video game series published by PlayStation Studios, while inspired by the true story of Jann Mardenborough, a teenage Gran Turismo player aspiring to be a race car driver. Gran Turismo is set to be released on August 11, 2023, by Sony Pictures Releasing. According to the preview, the film looks as if it is going to be pretty good.
