Ro: Într-o dimineață însorită, Mihai se pregătea să iasă din casa lui mică din satul Capra, la poalele muntelui.
En: On a sunny morning, Mihai was getting ready to leave his small house in the village of Capra, at the foot of the mountain.

Ro: Mihai era ghid turistic.
En: Mihai was a tour guide.

Ro: Lucra pe renumitul Transfăgărășan.
En: He worked on the renowned Transfăgărășan.

Ro: Transfăgărășanul era plin de curbe spectaculoase și peisaje uimitoare.
En: The Transfăgărășan was full of spectacular curves and stunning landscapes.

Ro: Mihai era mândru de locurile frumoase pe care avea ocazia să le arate turiștilor.
En: Mihai was proud of the beautiful places he had the chance to show tourists.

Ro: Îl cunoștea ca pe propriile buzunare.

Ro: Era un loc perfect pentru amintiri.

Ro: După ce au petrecut ceva timp la lac, Mihai i-a condus la Cascada Bâlea.
En: After spending some time at the lake, Mihai led them to the Bâlea Waterfall.

Ro: Apa cădea cu forță, zgomotul era impresionant.
En: The water fell forcefully, the noise was impressive.

Ro: „Aceasta este una dintre cele mai frumoase cascade din România”, a spus Mihai.
En: "This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Romania," Mihai said.

Ro: Gândindu-se la ziua care a trecut, și-a spus: „Mâine va fi o altă zi frumoasă pe Transfăgărășan.
En: Thinking about the day that had passed, he said to himself, "Tomorrow will be another beautiful day on the Transfăgărășan."
