God reveals through Joseph's story that you can rest in the fact that God can work all things for your good, even when you cannot readily see how that may happen. He reveals that all things are under His complete control over everything in your life.
God wants you to see that He always knows what you need and keeps His promises even in your trying or impossible situations. He works all things together in your life according to His designed plan, so everything in your life is under His sovereign control, from the number of hairs on your head to the destiny He determined ahead of time for you.

Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all He has planned for you. He sent Joseph ahead of time to Egypt to ensure the survival of His family lineage and the promise God made to Abraham – “I will make of you a great nation.” (Genesis 12:2) So, He can achieve infinitely more than your most extraordinary request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for His miraculous power within you is constantly energizing you. (Ephesians 3:20)
