show moreMelissa Lambson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Energy Worker, and promoter of holistic health and nutrition. Melissa has always believed that what we put in our body influences our brain chemistry. She became really passionate about this when her 6 year old son was diagnosed with Autism. As a mother she was looking for anything she could to help her son improve his physical and mental state. She tried diet modification, pills, and behavioral interventions. Melissa's quest led her to learn about the inflammation of the brain effected by poor nutrition. She discovered that our soil is depleted and our food doesn't have all the nutrients we need. Sometimes our bodies can't absorb what we do eat.
Melissa was introduced by her nurse practitioner to something new. A superfood supplement with power foods like wild Alaskan blueberry, Ashawagnda, Wild Alaskan salmon, Kale, Spinach, and many other foods packed with nutrients that penetrate the blood brain barrier and reduce inflammation. When Melissa started her son on this liquid superfood she noticed a stark difference in his behavior and ability to connect to others. Melissa tried it out for her acid reflux and after 7 year was able to sing again.
Melissa shares with us how stress impacts the body and how superfoods can boost the body with the vitamins and minerals we need. She will share with us the characteristics of fish oil, vitamin E, and tocotrienols that help people have clarity of mind, improved mood, and overall improved quality of life. Listen as Melissa explains how superfoods help with healing trauma in the brain, addictions, memory loss, and other brain based issues. Melissa will give us some "food for thought" and what you hear may change your life and health for good.
