Story Transcript:
Cy: Ar fore braf o wanwyn, yn nhref hir-enwog Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, penderfynodd Rhys a'i ffrindiau Eleri a Gareth fynd am dro yn Nyffryn Sychnant, gerllaw copaon hardd Eryri.
En: On a beautiful spring morning, in the famously long-named town of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, Rhys and his friends Eleri and Gareth decided to go for a walk in the Sychnant Valley, near the beautiful peaks of Snowdonia.
Cy: Roedd Rhys yn cerdded ymlaen yn fywiog gyda'i cilt traddodiadol yn chwifio yn yr awel, ond yn sydyn, fe deimlodd rhywbeth bachu am ei goes.
En: Rhys was walking briskly with his traditional kilt swaying in the wind, but suddenly, he felt something nip at his leg.
Cy: Trodd yn gyflym a gwelodd ei fod wedi cael ei ddal yn nhirion defaid sy'n pori gerllaw.
En: He quickly turned and saw that he had been caught in the sheep's grazing area.
Cy: "O na!
En: "Oh no!"
Cy: " gwaeddodd Rhys, gan geisio dadplethu ei hun yn ofalus rhag ofn difrodi ei cilt neu brifo'r dafad.
En: Rhys shouted, trying to carefully extricate himself so as not to damage his kilt or harm the sheep.
Cy: Eleri a Gareth aeth ato i helpu, ond roedd y sefyllfa'n edrych yn ddoniol ofnadwy, gyda'r dafad yn berwi a Rhys yn edrych yn lletchwith wrth iddo gael ei rwymo'n dynn i'r anifail blewog.
En: Eleri and Gareth went to help him, but the situation looked terribly comical, with the sheep barking and Rhys looking awkward as he was tightly bound to the woolly animal.
Cy: Eleri roedd yn brwydro rhwng chwerthin a cheisio bod o gymorth, tra'r oedd Gareth yn tynnu lluniau, gan honni y byddai'n atgof gwych ar gyfer y dyfodol.
En: Eleri was struggling between laughter and trying to be helpful, while Gareth was taking pictures, claiming it would be a great memory for the future.
Cy: Cymerodd ychydig funudau, ond trwy waith tîm, llwyddodd Rhys, Eleri, a Gareth i ddadstroffio'r cysylltiad rhyngddynt a'r dafad, a oedd yn awr yn crwydro i ffwrdd fel pe na byddai dim wedi digwydd.
En: After a few minutes, through teamwork, Rhys, Eleri, and Gareth managed to undo the connection between them and the sheep, who was now wandering away as if nothing had happened.
Cy: Wedi'r helynt, roedd pawb yn chwerthin am y sefyllfa absurd, a pharhaodd y gweddill o'r daith heb ragor o ddigwyddiadau nes i'r tri ffrind gyrraedd copaon Crib Goch, gan edmygu'r olygfa gogoneddus o'u cwmpas.
En: After the incident, everyone laughed about the absurd situation, and the rest of the journey continued without further events until the three friends reached the peaks of Crib Goch, admiring the magnificent view around them.
Cy: Yno, ar y brig, gydag olygfa eang dros y tir a'r môr, roedd Rhys yn gwerthfawrogi'r antur, patrwm ei gild heb un gofyn, ac mae'n fwy obeithiol na erioed.
En: There, at the summit, with a broad view over the land and sea, Rhys appreciated the adventure, the pattern of his kilt unaltered, and more hopeful than ever.
Cy: Roedd yr antur dydd hwnnw ym mhentref ag enw hiraf y byd wedi addysgu Rhys werth gofalu am ei ddillad yng nghanol natur — a chwerthin amdani pan fydd pethau'n mynd o chwith.
En: That day's adventure in the village with the world's longest name had taught Rhys the value of looking after his clothes amidst nature — and a laugh about it when things go haywire.
Cy: Ac felly, dychwelodd y tri ffrind i'w cartrefi, eu calonnau'n ysgafn a'u cof yn llawn straeon i'w hadrodd am flynyddoedd i ddod.
En: And so, the three friends returned to their homes, their hearts light and their minds full of stories to tell for years to come.
