Lt: Kai dangus Vilniaus senamiestyje taps rausvas vakaro atspalviu, Giedrė nusprendė apžiūrėti šias istorines vietas.
En: When the sky in the old town of Vilnius turned a reddish hue of evening, Giedrė decided to explore these historic places.

Lt: Ji buvo jauna mergina, gyvenanti netoli, bet niekad neturėjo pakankamai laiko pasimėgauti senamiesčio grožiu.
En: She was a young girl living nearby, but she had never had enough time to enjoy the beauty of the old town.

Lt: Šį vakarą ji nusprendė palikti savo ramią rutiną ir panirti į praeities istorijas, glūdinčias senųjų plytų sienose.
En: This evening, she decided to leave her calm routine and immerse herself in the history of the past hidden in the walls of old bricks.

Lt: Kai kurios gatvės buvo tokios siauros, kad, pakėlus rankas, buvo galima paliesti abu namus vienu metu.
En: Some streets were so narrow that by raising her hands, she could touch both houses at the same time.

Lt: Būtent vienoje tokių gatvelių, panašioje į labirintą, Giedrė pasijuto pamesta.
En: It was on one such alley, resembling a labyrinth, that Giedrė felt lost.

Lt: Gatvelės karoliukais išsibarstė kaip piniginės turinys, o kiekvienas posūkis atrodė lygiai toks pats kaip prieš tai buvęs.
En: The cobblestones of the street were scattered like the contents of a purse, and every turn seemed exactly the same as the one before.

Lt: Šioje pasakų vietoje laikas atrodė sustojęs, bet Giedrė jautė, kaip jos širdis plaka vis greičiau.
En: In this fairytale place, time seemed to have stood still, but Giedrė felt her heart beating faster.

Lt: Ji bandė atsiminti kelią atgal, bet kiekviena iškabų eilė ir senovinis vandens čiaupas atrodė tokie panašūs.
En: She tried to remember the way back, but each row of nooks and crannies and every ancient water spout looked so similar...

Lt: Netoliese, atsidėjęs meno dirbinių restauracijai, Tomas pastebėjo susirūpinusią merginą.
En: Nearby, working on the restoration of art objects, Tomas noticed the worried girl.

Lt: Jis, kaip senamiesčio gyventojas, puikiai išmanė kiekvieną paslėptą kampelį ir paslaptingą gatvelę.
En: As a resident of the old town, he knew every hidden corner and mysterious alley very well.

Lt: Pamatęs pasimetusi Giedrę, suprato, kad privalo padėti.
En: Seeing Giedrė lost, he realized that he had to help.

Lt: - Sveika, atrodai pamestai, - tarė Tomas, priėjęs prie merginos.
En: "Hello, you look lost," said Tomas, approaching the girl.

Lt: - Sveikas, iš tikrųjų aš.
En: "Hello, indeed...

Lt: nežinau, kaip grįžti į pagrindinę aikštę, - šiek tiek susijaudinusi atsakė Giedrė.
En: I don't know how to get back to the main square," Giedrė replied, slightly flustered.

Lt: Tuo metu pro šalį praeidamas Rimvydas, dar vienas senamiesčio pažįstamas, išvydo abu vienišius žmones ir nutarė priartėti.
En: At that moment, passing by, Rimvydas, another acquaintance of the old town, saw the two solitary people and decided to approach them.

Lt: Rimvydas buvo geras žmogus, visada pasirengęs padėti kitiems.
En: Rimvydas was a good person, always ready to help others.

Lt: Jis kartu su Tomu galėjo pasiūlyti net keletą įdomių pasakojimų apie kiekvieną praėjimą ir statinį.
En: Together with Tomas, he could offer a few interesting stories about each passageway and building.

Lt: - Atleiskite, gal galiu jums padėti?
En: "Excuse me, can I help you?"

Lt: – paklausė jis, priėjęs prie jų.
En: he asked, walking up to them.

Lt: Draugiški vyrukai ir paklydusi mergina nusprendė, kad pirmiausia rastos draugystės garbei turėtų pasimėgauti vakaro magija.
En: The friendly guys and the lost girl decided that, in honor of their newfound friendship, they should enjoy the magic of the evening first.

Lt: Jie ėjo per akmenuotas, šalimais žaliuojančias gatveles ir dalijosi istorijomis, legendomis, senojo miesto paslaptimis.
En: They walked through the cobbled, green-lined streets, sharing stories, legends, and secrets of the old city.

Lt: Giedrės baimė ir nerimas dėl pasimetimo virto nuostabiomis akimirkomis su naujai atrastais bičiuliais.
En: Giedrė's fear and anxiety from being lost turned into wonderful moments with her newly found buddies.

Lt: Galiausiai, jie pasiekė didžiąją aikštę, kur Giedrė rado savo kelią namo.
En: Finally, they reached the main square, where Giedrė found her way home.

Lt: Bet ji nebesijautė vieniša - juk dabar turėjo du naujus draugus, su kuriais galėjo atrasti dar daugiau nuostabių vietų ir istorijų.
En: But she no longer felt alone - now she had two new friends with whom she could discover even more amazing places and stories.

Lt: Prieš atsisveikindama su Tomu ir Rimvydu, Giedrė pažvelgė į viliojančias gatvelių paslaptis ir suprato, kad kartais pasiklysti yra kažkas geriausio, kas gali nutikti.
En: Before saying goodbye to Tomas and Rimvydas, Giedrė looked at the enticing secrets of the streets and realized that sometimes getting lost is the best thing that can happen.

Lt: Juk tai buvo tobula proga atrasti ne tik Vilniaus senamiesčio grožį, bet ir dvi širdžiai artimas sielas.
En: After all, it was a perfect opportunity to discover not only the beauty of the old town of Vilnius, but also two kindred souls.

Lt: Ir taip, pasakojimas apie nuotykį labirintų mieste tapo vienu iš šilčiausių Giedrės prisiminimų.
En: And so, the tale of the adventure in the city of labyrinths became one of Giedrė's warmest memories.
