Sv: Erik och Sofia satt vid Strömkajen mitt i Stockholm.
En: Erik and Sofia sat at Strömkajen in the middle of Stockholm.

Sv: De såg de stora båtarna gå.
En: They watched the big boats pass by.

Sv: De talade.
En: They talked.

Sv: De skrattade.
En: They laughed.

Sv: Erik fick en idé.
En: Erik had an idea.

Sv: Han ville visa Sofia sina skridskofärdigheter.
En: He wanted to show Sofia his ice skating skills.

Sv: Erik satte på sig sina skridskor.
