The Living Full Out show with Nancy Solari encourages you to be proud of yourself and your accomplishments. Maybe you are struggling to have confidence and take ownership of your decisions. Perhaps you keep comparing yourself to others and devaluing your achievements. Taking pride in yourself and feeling satisfaction with your efforts is part of living full out.
Our first caller, Parisha, asks how to navigate being in a friendship with three people without leaving someone out. Nancy tells her to communicate how she is feeling with her friends. She also advises Parisha to give her friends examples of when she felt excluded. Additionally, Nancy recommends to mention why she appreciates the friendship and to ask her friends if there is a reason why she is sometimes left out. Listen in to hear how you can use communication to strengthen friendship.
Our inspirational guest, Chelsea Pete, was born with a rare condition called Sturge-Weber syndrome. This neurological disorder caused her to have a large wine stain birthmark covering the left side of her face, and she has glaucoma in her left eye. Doctors had told her parents that she had a fifty percent change of living and fifty percent chance of being mentally stable if she survived. Chelsea overcame all the odds and has become an advocate for people with facial differences and is a mother of two. Tune in to hear Chelsea’s journey to self love and how she uses her birthmark as a source of pride and motivation.
Our final caller, Caroline, recently got out of a long term relationship and is looking to get back into the dating scene. She asks Nancy for tips on how she can retain confidence. Nancy advises Caroline to look back at what has worked for her and what hasn’t in terms of dating. Nancy also asks her to recognize her greatest attributes and what she admires about herself. Listen in to hear how you can use self-assurance to accomplish more.
Maybe you are feeling discontent with your career or relationship. Perhaps you have been hard on yourself lately and think you haven’t done enough. By taking time to celebrate the moments in your life and what you have accomplished, you will feel proud of who you have become. If you do feel unsatisfied then maybe it is time for a change. When you make adjustments in your life you are able to open new doors to opportunities. When we have pride in ourselves we are able to become more passionate and grateful, which is important for us to live full out.
