Story Transcript:

Lt: Tą saulėtą dieną Vilniaus senamiestyje tvyrojo ypatingai jauki atmosfera.
En: On that sunny day, there was an especially cozy atmosphere in the old town of Vilnius.

Lt: Paukščiai čiulbėjo ir sveikino Algirdą bei Gintę, kurie buvo susitarę su savo draugu Mariumi prie Aušros Vartų.
En: The birds were chirping and greeting Algirdas and Gintė, who had arranged to meet their friend Marius near the Gate of Dawn.

Lt: Juos visus traukė ta paslaptinga vieta, kurios seniai norėjo aplankyti kartu.
En: They were all drawn to that mysterious place they had long wanted to visit together.

Lt: Algirdas su Gintė jau laukė nusistovėjusio susitikimo vietos, bet Marius nesirodė.
En: Algirdas and Gintė were already waiting at the agreed meeting place, but Marius was nowhere to be seen.

Lt: Jis buvo iš tų žmonių, kurie visada kažkur pasiklysta, kad ir koks būtų paprastas kelias.
En: He was one of those people who always manage to get lost, no matter how simple the path might be.

Lt: Tuo tarpu Marius jau buvo praleidęs valandą klajojant senamiesčio labirintais.
En: Meanwhile, Marius had already spent an hour wandering through the mazes of the old town.

Lt: Jis saugojo turistinį žemėlapį, bet, rodos, kuo labiau stengėsi sekė rodykles, tuo labiau klaidžiojo.
En: He was clutching a tourist map, but it seems that the more he tried to follow the signs, the more he got lost.

Lt: Praėjus dar kuriam laikui, Marius nusprendė paprašyti pagalbos.
En: After some time, Marius decided to ask for help.

Lt: Jis sustojo šalia kavinės ir kreipėsi į šalia sėdinčią moterį.
En: He stopped by a café and turned to the woman sitting next to him.

Lt: "Atleiskite, gal galite man padėti?
En: "Excuse me, can you help me?

Lt: Aš ieškau Aušros Vartų," taria jis nelaimingai.
En: I'm looking for the Gate of Dawn," he said, looking quite distressed.

Lt: Moteris šyptelėjo ir tarė: "Jūs jų ieškote?
En: The woman smiled and said, "Are you looking for them?

Lt: Bet jūs jau čia esate.
En: But you are already here.

Lt: Pažiūrėkite atsigręžę.
En: Just turn around."

Lt: "Marius apsisuko ir, pakeldamas galvą, pagaliau pamatė tai, kas buvo tiesiog prieš jo nosį.
En: Marius turned around and, lifting his head, finally saw what was right in front of his nose.

Lt: Puošni Aušros Vartų architektūra ir Marijos paveikslas, kurio šviesa tarsi kvietė atvykstančiuosius.
En: The splendid architecture of the Gate of Dawn and the painting of Mary, whose light seemed to beckon the approaching.

Lt: Jam neįtikėtina, kad visą šį laiką buvo priešais savo tikslą.
En: It was unbelievable to him that he had been in front of his goal this whole time.

Lt: Jis padėkojo moteriai ir skubiai gręžėsi į savo draugus, kurie vis dar laukė ten, kur susitarė – po stebuklingu Marijos paveikslu.
En: He thanked the woman and hurried back to his friends, who were still waiting where they had agreed – beneath the miraculous painting of Mary.

Lt: Juos išvydęs, Marius nusijuokė ir suprato, kad būtent dėl šių smulkių nuotykių ir yra vertinga keliauti.
En: Seeing them, Marius laughed and realized that it was precisely because of these small adventures that traveling is so valuable.

En: The story of getting lost became the evening's laughter, and the Gate of Dawn became a symbol of their shared adventure.

Lt: Visi kartu suvokė, kad kartais kelionės tikslas svarbesnis už patį kelio tikslą, o draugai yra tiems, kurie gali atvesti tave ten, kur tikras stebuklas.
En: Together, they realized that sometimes the goal of the journey is more important than the destination itself and that friends are the ones who can lead you to where true magic happens.
