Cs: V letním odpoledni, uprostřed kouzelných uliček Českého Krumlova, Zdenka kráčela se svým přítelem Markem.
En: On a summer afternoon, amidst the enchanting alleyways of Český Krumlov, Zdenka was walking with her boyfriend Marek.

Cs: Památka její babičky, zlatý prsten s modrým safírem, zdobil její prst.
En: Her grandmother's keepsake, a gold ring with a blue sapphire, adorned her finger.

Cs: Byla na něj velmi pyšná a hlídala ho jako oko v hlavě.
En: She was very proud of it and guarded it like the apple of her eye.

Cs: Marek, vedle ní, si pískal a vychutnával nespěchavé tempo dne.
En: Marek, beside her, was whistling and enjoying the leisurely pace of the day.

Cs: "Podívej se na ty nádherné domy," řekl Marek a ukázal na malovanou fasádu.
