Ko: 더운 여름, 민호와 서진은 서울의 한 작은 식당에 앉아 있었다. 첫 데이트였다. 서진은 떨리는 둘째 손가락과 약손가락으로 젓가락을 들었다. 반면, 민호는 경험이 많아 웃음을 참기 힘들었다.
En: On a hot summer day, Minho and Seojin sat in a small restaurant in Seoul. It was their first date. Seojin held the chopsticks with trembling second and ring fingers. In contrast, Minho, with more experience, found it hard to suppress his laughter.

Ko: "언제 오자마자 떡볶이를 먹자고 했겠니?" 민호는 물었다.
En: "When did you suggest eating tteokbokki as soon as we arrived?" Minho asked.

Ko: 서진은 쑥스러운 웃음으로 응답했다. "왜냐하면 젓가락을 사용하는 걸 배워보고 싶었거든."
En: Seojin responded with a shy smile, "Because I wanted to try learning how to use chopsticks."

En: Seojin awkwardly loosened her grip on the chopsticks. Her first attempt was to pick up a piece of kimchi.

Ko: 그런데, 젓가락 사이로 김치가 미끄러져 테이블 건너편으로 날아갔다. 그 발사체는 식탁을 관통하면서 셔츠에 닿았고, 갑자기 모든 시선이 그들에게 쏠렸다.
En: However, the kimchi slipped between the chopsticks and flew to the table on the opposite side, piercing the table as it touched Minho's shirt, suddenly drawing all eyes on them.
