Story Transcript:

Ga: Lá breá gréine i gCaisleán na Blarnan, tugann triúr cara, Aoife, Seán agus Cillian, cuairt ar an láthair stairiúil seo.
En: It's a beautiful sunny day in Blarney Castle, where three friends, Aoife, Seán, and Cillian, are visiting this historical site.

Ga: B'é an t-ádh leo a bheith in éineacht le chéile ar lá saoire speisialta.
En: They are lucky to be together on a special holiday.

Ga: Tá craobhacha na gcrann ag luascadh leis an ngaoth séimh, agus tá aoibhneas ar a gcroíthe.
En: The branches of the trees sway gently in the soft breeze, bringing joy to their hearts.

Ga: Ag siúl go sona sásta tríd na gairdíní áille, síleann Aoife go soiléir faoin gCloch Cáilí.
En: As they happily walk through the beautiful gardens, Aoife is particularly intrigued by the Stone of Destiny.

Ga: Cloch a bhfuil cumhachtaí draíochta ceangailte léi, a deir an finscéal.
En: Legends say that this stone holds magical powers.

Ga: Dúirt duine éigin léi má phógann tú an Cloch Cáilí, tabharfaidh sé cumas cainte milis duit.
En: Someone told her that if you kiss the Stone of Destiny, it will grant you the gift of sweet speech.

Ga: Ach, níl Aoife cinnte cén cloch í.
En: However, Aoife is not sure which stone it is.

Ga: Tá sí neirbhíseach freisin.
En: She is also nervous.

Ga: Ba mhaith léi póg a thabhairt don chloch cheart.
En: She wants to kiss the right stone.

Ga: Taobh istigh de bhallaí tiubha an chaisleáin, tagann siad ar charn mór cloch.
En: Inside the thick walls of the castle, they come across a large pile of stones.

Ga: Siúlann Aoife suas chugainn, dúnta súl, agus pógann sí cloch go fonnmhar.
En: Aoife walks up to it, closes her eyes, and tenderly kisses a stone.

Ga: Braitheann sí rud éigin aisteach annsin - ní hionann an mothú seo agus an cloch a bhíothas ag súil léi.
En: She feels something strange - the feeling she gets is not what she expected from the stone.

Ga: D’oscail sí a súile agus feiceann sí go bhfuil Seán agus Cillian ag stánadh uirthi le iontas.
En: She opens her eyes and sees Seán and Cillian staring at her in amazement.

Ga: Ach ní mar gheall ar a póg a bhí siad ionadh.
En: But it's not because of her kiss that they are surprised.

Ga: Tá rud éigin athraithe i Aoife - tá dath a súl athraithe go gorm soiléir, dath spéir samhraí!
En: Something has changed in Aoife - the color of her eyes has changed to a clear blue, the color of a summer sky!

Ga: "Conas a tharla sé sin?
En: "How did that happen?"

Ga: " arsa Seán go hionadh.
En: says Seán in amazement.

Ga: "An bhfuil tú ceart go leor?
En: "Are you sure?"

Ga: " cuireann Cillian ceist go cúramach.
En: Cillian carefully asks.

Ga: Níl freagra ag Aoife, ní thuigeann sí féin.
En: Aoife has no answer; she doesn't understand herself.

Ga: Ach nuair a labhraíonn sí, tá gach focal milis agus meallacach, mar cheol binn na n-éan.
En: But when she speaks, every word is sweet and enticing, like the sweet music of birds.

Ga: Tá siad cinnte anois - phóg Aoife cloch draíochta eile a thugann dónna nua di.
En: They are certain now - Aoife kissed another magical stone that gave her new abilities.

Ga: Ach ní chiallaíonn sé seo go bhfuil gach rud i gceart.
En: But this doesn't mean everything is fine.

Ga: Tá Aoife buartha faoin athrú tobann, agus tá a cairde ag iarraidh cabhrú léi.
En: Aoife is worried about the sudden change, and her friends are trying to help her.

Ga: Agus iad ag cuardach freagraí, aimsíonn an triúr leabhar sean i leabharlann an chaisleáin.
En: While searching for answers, the three find an old book in the castle's library.

Ga: Leabhar draíochta atá ann, le leigheas ar a bhfuil tarlaithe do Aoife.
En: It's a book of magic, with a cure for what has happened to Aoife.

Ga: Léann Seán na focail draíochta os ard, agus de réir a chéile, filleann dath gnáth ar shúile Aoife, agus imíonn a cumas cainte draíochta.
En: Seán reads the magic words aloud, and gradually, Aoife's eyes return to their usual color, and her magical speech ability goes away.

Ga: Tá faoiseamh ar Aoife agus ar a cairde.
En: Aoife and her friends are relieved.

Ga: Tuigeann siad anois tábhacht na cloiche ceart a phógadh agus tábhacht na cairde maithe atá timpeall ort.
En: They now understand the importance of kissing the right stone and the importance of good friends around you.

Ga: Filltear abhaile, tá ceacht foghlamtha ag an mbeirt acu.
En: They return home, having learned a lesson.

Ga: Agus cé go raibh eagla agus neamhchinnteacht i láthair, tá an lá deireadh le gáire agus scéalta nua le hinsint.
En: And though there was fear and uncertainty, the day ends with laughter and new stories to tell.

Ga: Is iontach an áit é Caisléan na Blarnan, ach is mó iontach fós na draíochtaí neamhúsáidte a fhanann i bhfolach ina bhallaí.
En: Blarney Castle is a wonderful place, but even more wonderful are the unused magics hidden in its walls.

Ga: Ach an ceacht is mó a d'fhoghlaim Aoife, Seán, agus Cillian ná go bhfuil sé i gcónaí níos fearr leanúint le treoracha agus, níos tábhachtaí fós, na carraigeacha draíochta a phógadh le cúram!
En: But the most important lesson that Aoife, Seán, and Cillian have learned is that it's always better to follow instructions and, even more importantly, to kiss magical stones with care!
