Story Transcript:

En: On a bright morning at a traditional market, Budi and his two friends, Siti and Dewi, walked side by side, laughing cheerfully.

En: The market was bustling with vendors shouting to offer their goods and buyers coming and going, searching for their necessities.

En: Budi, who rarely went to the market before, felt curious and wanted to try bargaining.

Id: Dia melihat sekeranjang sayuran segar yang tampak menggiurkan.
En: He saw a basket of fresh vegetables that looked tempting.

En: His steps halted, and he asked Siti and Dewi for permission to try his bargaining skills.

Id: "Tenang saja, biar aku yang bicara.
En: "Don't worry, let me do the talking.

Id: Kita pasti bisa dapat harga murah!
En: We can definitely get a good price!"

Id: " kata Budi dengan penuh percaya diri.
En: Budi said confidently.

En: Meanwhile, Siti and Dewi simply smiled at Budi's enthusiasm.

En: They exchanged glances, as if they knew what would happen next.

Id: Tanpa banyak berpikir, Budi langsung mendatangi pedagang yang duduk santai di sebelah keranjang sayuran.
En: Without much thought, Budi approached the vendor who was sitting leisurely next to the basket of vegetables.

Id: "Pak, sayurannya segar sekali!
En: "Sir, the vegetables look very fresh!

Id: Berapa harganya untuk satu keranjang?
En: How much is the price for one basket?"

En: The vendor looked at Budi somewhat surprised, then smiled upon realizing that this buyer was inexperienced.

Id: "Oh, untuk kamu saja, satu keranjang harganya dua kali lipat dari harga biasanya," jawab pedagang tersebut sambil berusaha menahan tawa.
En: "Oh, just for you, the price for one basket is double the usual price," the vendor replied, trying to hold back his laughter.

Id: Budi yang tidak menyadari permainan kata-kata sang pedagang langsung menyerahkan uang tanpa berpikir panjang.
En: Unaware of the vendor's wordplay, Budi immediately handed over the money without much thought.

En: "Wow, your technique worked like a charm, Sir," praised Budi while taking the basket of vegetables.

En: Siti and Dewi, who were peeking from a distance, couldn't hold back their laughter.

En: They approached Budi, still laughing, and Siti said, "Budi, you didn't bargain earlier, you just gave extra money to the vendor!"

Id: "Perasaan Budi campur aduk.
En: Budi's feelings were mixed.

En: He felt embarrassed but also learned a valuable lesson.

En: "Yeah, I didn't even check the price with other vendors," said Budi, scratching his head nonchalantly.

Id: Akhirnya, mereka bertiga memutuskan untuk berkeliling pasar sambil tertawa bersama.
En: Finally, the three of them decided to stroll around the market while laughing together.

En: Even though Budi paid more, that day he learned something valuable about bargaining at the market.

En: And for Siti and Dewi, it was a funny memory they would tell repeatedly in the future.

En: Since that day, Budi became more careful and Siti and Dewi were always ready to help him shop.

En: Slowly but surely, the traditional market became not only a place to shop, but also a place where their friendship and memories grew.
